These are nice if you have a VERY LARGE CLOSET. I dont, hence the reason I bought this - and it didnt really maximize any space at all.

If you only need to hang a dozen blouses on this hanger it might be OK but if you need to hang a dozen pairs of jeans choose a different product.

I am very pleased with this product. My dress shirts and pants are finally saved from touching the floor in my closet (huge pet peeve of mine). I also didn't realize how much more space I created in my closet, now I don't have to take up the extra closet space in the guest room.

I've searched all over for a doubler that was less than 32" and this works great! I have short closet bars so most doublers caused my lower bar clothes to drag on the floor. This product lets me pick the length I need. It's metal materials makes it quite durable too. Hooray!

I've had this closet doubler for about a year and half and it has been perfect. It is easy to set up and extremely sturdy, i don't have to put tape or anything or worry about my clothes falling to the ground. Also, it's not too big so I still have a little room left over in my closet for coats and dresses. and when i go away for the summer it's very easy to take a part and takes no room to store. so it creates lots of space without taking up any! like others said, it's adjustable so you make it the perfect height for your closet

Lowered closet rod for elderly mother 2007-12-11
I'm so glad this is adjustable!!! Instead of making a second level of hanging clothes (the way most people will use it), we used this to make another rod approximately 8 inches lower than the regular high closet rod so that my very short 80 year old mother could reach the hangers! The package came with 3 pieces (the two sides and the cross bar) and it was very easy to lay the cross bar into the slots and just hang it up! I added tape around where the cross bar meets the sides, just to make sure it wouldn't pop out, although I wasn't really that worried about it popping out. You have several choices on where to lay the cross bar. I would be more specific with measurements but I didn't think to measure before I came back from putting it up for her (she lives in another state.) I was unnecessarily worried that she would have to put the clothes in the slotted areas shown on the cross bar but we just laid them across the top of the cross bar and they slide easily (that's probably the way it is meant to work, I don't know why I was thinking she might have to put them in the slots!!) Altogether -- it works GREAT and it was easy to put up!!
