Can make BPA free with Avent liners!!!

Great nipple for breastfeeding, bad bottle for the BPA, BUT, can create a perfect BPA free system with the AVENT liners which are BPA free. They fit perfectly and haven't leaked a drop. I love the design of this nipple and the fact that my baby doesn't leak my hard earned pumped breastmilk. It also doesn't let the milk flow too fast for a breastfed baby like most slow flow newborn nipples do. My 3 month old was overwhelmed with the fast flow of Medela's newborn nipples; she would furrow her brow and look panicked, with the Breastflow she looks content, like she does breastfeeding.

My daughter switches between the breast and this bottle with no problem. I love that the cap attaches to the bottom so you don't lose it. They're easy to clean, too.

This is the second purchase Ive made of these bottles. The first was in June, my little great neice has had no gas, No spitting up, virtually no burping after eating. These bottles are a God Send and my neice said that she would recommend them to everyone. The only place we can get them is on Amazon or Target. Amazing!!!

Good For the switch

If you're going to breastfeed and use bottles for pumped breastmilk then this is the bottle for you. This is the only bottle my baby would take and she had no problem going back to the breast after the bottle. No nipple confusion at all.

When breast and formula feeding- great

We've been doing both breast and formula supplementation and this bottle has been great since our baby was 1 month. The flow is so slow that she isn't getting use to the fast flow that we found with other bottles. It's a bit more cleaning time but we love this bottle and the baby takes to it easily. I am very disturbed that they are made with BPA and am considering throwing them in the trash. I will do the research now. I certainly am not going to buy any new ones.

The 9 oz Breastflow bottle is ideal for young infants and includes a Stage 2, medium flow nipple. Includes three 9 oz bottles and three Stage 2 Breastflow nipples. Breastflow is the only feeding system that requires both suction and compression, just like breast feeding. The nipple is designed to mimic the breast so baby can latch on and to encourage the same mouth and tongue position as breast feeding. The double nipple system requires both suction and compression, just like breast feeding and baby controls the flow of milk. It's the bottle most like breastfeeding.

This is the best bottle ever. My 2 month old refused to take anything other than the breast and after trying more than 4 brands of bottles this one worked and worked well. It has a letdown effect just like the breast so baby wont get confused and she went back to me for a feeding without hesitation. Highly recommended.

Boycott Learning Curve First Year Products for not using BPA free bottle products

The Learning Curve First Year company does not make a Bisphenol-A free baby bottle product INCLUDING their Breastflow products. I did not learn of this until recently and had the misfortune of buying some first. When I tried to return the items to the company directly, they refused. In their email to me they do not deny having BPA in their bottles and stated directly: "Our baby bottles are polycarbonate and may contain Bisphenol A." They actually believe their polycarbonate BPA bottles are safe and refuse to take a proactive stance to create something BPA free. Please don't buy this product and take the risk of exposing your baby to BPA. If I can offer any advice, please...take the time to do the research and find a safe bottle for your baby. They should be ashamed of themselves and I will happy be boycotting First Year/Learning Curve brands because they obviously do not care about their customers or the safety and welfare of our children. It apparently is going to take a lawsuit of some sort once one of their bottles is proven to have caused harm to a child and they will feel ashamed for not doing something beforehand to protect our babies.

The breastflow bottle is awesome. We tried and tried for 8 months to have our youngest take a bottle. He refused all of them. (I honestly think we have about 16 or 17 different kinds of bottles in our repertorie.) I almost gave up and just decided I'd breastfeed exclusively for a year and then wean to a cup from that...but we gave this one a try in a last-ditch effort. He took it immediately. He has the same latch on the bottle as he does on me, and he'll even go from one to the other in the same feeding if he needs more than what I've got. It's easy to put together, I've had no leakage problems with it at all. We're both pleased! I'd highly recommend this; it's got the right shape and form for baby's natural latch.

Excellent Bottles

Like some that have posted here, we tried a number of bottles. My daughter rejected all pacifiers and bottles offered her. As I was about to return to work, it was very important that we found a bottle she would accept. A big problem for our daughter was the nipple length...gagging when trying to suck or just chewing for amusement. This is one of the only bottles on the market with short nipples. Latching on was quick (she "got" this bottle after maybe 2-3 tries) and the transition between brest and bottle is easy for our, now, 5 month old. We highly recommend these bottles. Ihey are the only bottle/nipple our daughter will take.
