I cannot compare directly with the actual Kodak battery, since I refused to pay the big bucks for that one. But this equivalent certainly works well. I so rarely have to charge the battery that I cannot even count how many photos I get between charges. I highly recommend this battery!

Don't buy this

This product is a gimmick that does not meet Sony specs and is VERY cumbersome to use. I was about ready to report this to the BBB.

300+ pictures with Z812 IS

This is a cheap and excellent alternative to the main stream batteries as it delivers as much, if not more, than promised. All-and-all a great product and a must-buy for anyone who owns a Kodak Z812is.

I bought these batteries when I bought my new camera. After the first charge they worked about two weeks (which is great after using regular AA batteries). Once they ran down though I have not been able to get them to re-charge. So I only got about two weeks use out of them. I don't know if it is the batteries or the charger. I am very dissapointed!!

I hate Amazon

The battery That Amazons site lead me to did not fit the Camera Amazon sold me. When I tried to call email customer service. The email would not take my order number, and would not give me a way to get through. I call their 800 number, waited a long time and hung up. Be sure not to trust Amazon to offer assesories that fit what you are buying. I am still trying to find the right battery. I should have bought locally.

Good value for money

I ordered battery and charger for my Kodak Z712 IS camera and both items came well ahead of time (Almost 1 week early) which was great. I have been using the battery and charger since and it's going great. It charges preety fast( couple of hours) and lasts long. It went on for more then 3 weeks with about 200 photos without charging. Even after three weeks the bettery indicator was still full so I guess it would have gone without charging some more. Excellent.
