WOW!! AND DOUBLE WOW!! What a great new talent, i first heard new shoes not knowing who was singing it but loved the song. Looked it up and bought it on amazon. There is nothing i dont love about this cd. From the first song to the last........ I have almost wore it out:) I am so looking forword to any new cds coming in the future.

The artist has brought a new genre of smooth jazzy type charisma to the music industry, the best thing yet is that he's from the Scotland, UK, undiscovered talent is not long shadowed by the overseas 'considered to be rivals'. His name would suggest a smooth jazzy Italian pop star, when in fact he is a soul-influenced adult alternative singer, after being discovered at 18 and now in his early 20's he has developed to the likes of all. Check out 'These Streets' album. It's fantastic.
Better than expected

I decided to buy this CD after hearing the catchy "Jenny Don't Be Hasty" track on Sirius Spectrum. I was more than pleasantly surprised to find a really great collection of songs. Several of the tracks reminded me of another of my favorite CDs, "Long Time Coming" by Jonny Lang. Nutini's vocals on a couple of the tracks even sound like they could have been sang by Lang. I am not at all a blues fan but this CD seems to mix in just enough of a blues element to separate it from the run-of-the-mill male pop/rock acts that seem to dominate commercial radio.

Unbelievable talent! This CD is mezmerizing, unlike anything else. There is only 1 track I don't care for.... and that's a good thing. I can't wait for a second CD to come out. There aren't words to describe how amazing this CD is. I saw him live, and Serena Ryder opened for him. Paolo's CD is better, but she smoked him in the live performance. Check her out too!

Before I bought this album I wasn't expecting much, I had only heard a couple of Pauolo's songs and liked them but didn't know much else. Well I was more than pleasantly suprised! I love this album! Pauolo Nutini Rocks my world! I would recomend this c.d. to anyone! Awesome rythm and creative songs, along with a very sexy voice make this the best album I have bought all year!
Inspiring, Meaningful Folk Rock 2008-04-02
The one thing that I really like about this CD is the lyrics; They are unconventional and winding; They touch on subjects you didn't expect to hear, and often evoke emotions from inside you didn't think a song could bring out. Coupled with the passion in his voice and some truly great melodies, this guy is someone to watch. Reminds me a little of Cat Stevens at times, but he is a true original for sure. A unique voice w/something to say.
Whats not to like 2008-03-25
Paolo Nutini when you first hear him sounds like he's been singing and touring for years, so well honed are his vocals. This lad is ultra talented not only is he a great singer but he's only 19 years old. This album is for young and old alike, he is truly a rising star.
Fabulous CD!! 2008-02-02
I found Paolo by accident but instantly fell for his voice and quickly ordered the CD. I was completely in awe and can't wait for the next one.
