decent shade

I bought a couple of these for my 2 half-circle windows on the front of my house. Each room becomes warm in the summertime, with the sun beating through the windows. This shade blocks the direct sunlight, but will still let ambient light through, which is fine for my needs. The rooms are much cooler now with this in place. The shades were easy to cut with a fine-toothed hacksaw. The only thing keeping me from scoring 5 out of 5 was the description indicating that the shade was made of vinyl and was washable. This is not the case, or at least it's not the type of vinyl I was expecting. It's more like a sturdy paper, and I am reluctant to wash it with water for fear of damaging the shade.
Great Product

I got this product to shade the half-round window in my baby's room. I had priced an actual blind for the window - the quote was $637.00! I found this at a local store easily, so it's readily available and the right price. The website has other stores where you can buy it as well. Reading something from another user, I measured my window height and still left an additional half-inch, as my window is slightly wider than high. The blind was cut and installed in less than 5 minutes. The hardest part is making sure it is centered in the window. It is very sturdy and looks really nice - one of those products that does what it says and really exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it and would definitely buy it again.
NIce price for temporary shade

At $20 with s/h, who can argue that this product is not perfect for it's purpose. I was a little dissapointed with the way I had to cut through 40 pleats with a razor and no matter what I did, it was not perfect. Shade is up, looks good, serves it's purpose for the price paid. Need to see darker colors as an option, that would be PERFECT!!
A great product!

I am thrilled with my RediShade! Most arch shades I was looking at were in the hundreds of dollars. I was planning to try to make my own, then I found this one on Amazon---and it was less expensive than if I were to make my own, AND a whole lot easier and a much better product. It looks great---and has a permanent home in my window.
Quick and easy shade

Took 5 minutes to install.
Measure greatest length of the arch, cut about 1/4in shorter, put it in place. Center clear-plastic holder (6in wide, 3in tall semicircle) keeps it in place.
It is paper, but has a great appearance.

I looked high and low for a simple solution for our east and west facing arch windows until I saw these. I was sceptical at firstdue to the price and the fact that they are paper. But, wghat a surprise! Easy to install and good looking too! I didn't use the adhesive strip and they still look good and stay in place. Thanks for this inexpensive and good looking product.
