Editorial Review
The Wireless-N Gigabit Gaming Router is really four devices in one box. First, there's the Wireless Access Point, which lets you connect to the network without wires. There's also a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100/1000 Switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices together at up to gigabit speeds. The Router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection. We've also included a Network Optimizer that applies various Quality of Service (QoS) techniques to your network traffic to make sure that time-sensitive applications like online and local network gaming run smoothly. It automatically determines what data is time-sensitive and what isn't, and prioritizes delivery of that data to its destination, ensuring the best-possible performance for the various types of data that go through your network. The Access Point built into the Router uses the very latest wireless networking technology, Wireless-N (draft 802.11n). By overlaying the signals of multiple radios, Wireless-N's "Multiple In, Multiple Out" (MIMO) technology multiplies the effective data rate. Unlike ordinary wireless networking technologies that are confused by signal reflections, MIMO actually uses these reflections to increase the range and reduce "dead spots" in the wireless coverage area. The robust signal travels farther, maintaining wireless connections up to 4 times farther than standard Wireless-G.With Wireless-N, the farther away you are, the more speed advantage you get. It works great with standard Wireless-G and -B equipment, but when both ends of the wireless link are Wireless-N, the router can increase the throughput even more by using twice as much radio band, yielding speeds up to 12 times as fast as standard Wireless-G.

AWSOME, A+++ 2008-04-24
this a very good, router, im am very pleased with its performence, now i know to stick to linksys and not d-link or netgear

Works Great! 2008-04-02
Works great for us. We can game on one pc and download videos on another, with the signal having to go through walls and floors, without any problems. Setup worked right out of the box and optional security settings were easy to figure out. We tried Belkin's N router and it was a nightmare from the moment we plugged it in....and Belkin had the worst tech support I've ever encountered! (not sure about Linksys support since everything has worked for a year without issue)

Outstanding Wireless-N Router 2008-03-28
After purchasing a new decked out Dell Inspiron 1720 with a built in Wireless-N card, I was disappointed with my internet speed when I was in some of the rooms in my house. My kitchen is on the other side of a large brick wall/fireplace from where my router is set up. My Linksys Wireless-G would allow me download at 5000Kb when I was in the same room as my router, but only about 25Kb when in my kitchen. I upgraded to the WRT330N and I am downloading at 7500Kb from my kitchen. Very nice.

Buggy - Don't Recommend 2008-03-18
The WRT330N is a bit buggy, so until Linksys can fix the kinks with a firmware update, I wouldn't recommend buying it (or maybe it cannot be fixed and it is just a pretty piece of black plastic). The first unit I had would turn off the wireless broadcast at least once a day (even though the wireless indicator light was on), so none of my computers (some with wireless G, some with wireless N) could detect the SSID. The only way to get it back up was to unplug it to reset the router. As you can imagine, doing this on a daily basis was a bit frustrating. Called Linksys customer service and they go through the same routine with all their products, i.e., what is your operating system, unplug the router, wait 15 seconds, turn it back on, etc. etc. After 45 minutes on the phone going through their scripted and mindless "tech support" methodology, they decided, I had a defective unit and issued me an RMA for a replacement unit, which they put a credit card hold for and when I received it, turned out to be a refurbished unit from some other unlucky customer. While the replacement unit doesn't drop the wireless signal, it emits a rather weak G signal, so that all my computers with a wireless G gets a "low" signal and only transmits at a putrid 24 to 36 mbps (even when i am 10-15 feet from the router). I had more reliable and stronger wireless signals with my old WRT54G router. Linksys probably released this unit sooner than they should have to capitalize on those of us who wanted the wireless N protocol.

So far fantastic router!! 2008-03-14
First off, kudos to Amazon! I got the router earlier than amazon said I would. Product arrived in great condition and setup was really easy. I would say I have moderate router/internet experience and installation and setup of 5 different devices went smoothly.

My config:
2 wired computers (1 windows xp, 1 linux )
1 wired Tivo
1 wireless T-mobile Hot spot @ home
1 wireless laptap (linux)

We are paying for turbo internet but were not able to take advantage of it as our old router was really old! ( I won it at bingo ) LOL

Item shipped with lastest firmware loaded 1.00.03 and I had no issues during setup. Seems to have a large array of customization options half of which I don't understand that well! All cards in devices are not drraft N cards but G cards, regardless of this, I saw almost 200% increases in speed on each of the computers. Wirelessly connected, the laptop actually tested with a higher upload speed than the wired computers. I tested some games I play and noticed my ping rates had fallen around 20 - 30 points.

While I have only had the product a short time, it has performed very well, I am impressed by this product. To me, its on the higher end of the price range I would pay for a router but increase in speed and config/security options available totally sold me.

Best Router so far 2008-07-19
Ive had a number of routers including netgear and dlink and other models of linksys, this one is by far the fastest and best quality router ive had, the only thing i wish i could do is have the ability to put on an omni directional antenna to boost the signal to cover my entire house (3 floors) with full bars, but for the money this is by far the BEST router around.

Great Stability & Range 2008-06-17
Got this router to replace my wireless-G router along, with a Linksys Draft-N Bridge. Both work excellently and increased my wireless range and throughput considerably. Setup was easy and it works great for gaming networks. Didn't have to set up any special port permissions, as I had to do with my previous wireless G Linksys router. Highly recommended.

Works wonderfully! 2008-06-14
Arrived quickly. Set up went extremely quickly and smoothly. Utility to perform setup was without any problems and had everything up and running far quicker than any previous hardware. Works very well. We'll now see how it operates over time and hopefully I will continue to be pleased with how it operates or deals with power loss.

Works great, so they must have fixed the problems... 2008-04-28
I hesitated to buy this router b/c of a some negative reviews early in the product's release. But, the reviews from teh other companies' products were even worse! I have always used Linksys routers, so I decided to stay with them, and I am glad I did. The setup was the easiest ever for a wireless router, and I was set up in about 5 minutes and playing online on my PS3. I'm not a big computer nerd, so I don't know about speeds, etc, but I have never had a problem speedwise w/ the PS3 or my laptop. Would definitely recommend this router.

Buen Producto 2008-04-25
