inexpensive but very complete kit 2007-09-01
As a youth coach, I needed a first aid kit as described in the Rutgers SAFETY clinic coaches reference manual. This kit was the only one I could find under $100 that had just about everything recommended in the manual. I think it is more complete than the kits available from Red Cross. Tons of bandaids, plus gauze, tape, scissors, ointments, bug sting swabs, hydrogen peroxide spray, gloves, a hot/cold pack and instant cold pack, even some sunscreen packets, hand sanitizer packets, and saline solution. The only thing missing was a first aid manual. Note that this kit is big, 13.5" x 11.5" x 4", which is what I was looking for (had enough room to add a small flashlight, a small tube of petroleum jelly and some extra hand sanitizer), but if you are looking for a travel kit this may be too big.

A family's necessary 2007-08-23
Everything you need is here for the simple first aid need especially on camping trips, family reunions, church trips, etc. A necessary expense
that is not expensive

Johnsons Poor Business Ethics 2008-07-17
I was shocked to read this about such a large and what seemed to be ethical company

"What would your nonprofit do if it were forced to give up its logo or tag line because another organization successfully claimed it as their own? The American Red Cross survived such a threat recently when a federal court in New York threw out Johnson & Johnson's lawsuit attempting to stop the American Red Cross from using the Red Cross emblem on first aid and other health and safety products sold to the public. Johnson & Johnson also claimed that the Red Cross should destroy its inventory of retail products and turn over the proceeds of past sales to Johnson & Johnson, as well as pay damages and court costs for violation of federal trademark laws. The Red Cross survived the attack by demonstrating that its historic use of the red-and-white symbol pre-dated (by six years) the use of the same image by Johnson and Johnson on its own retail products. Could your nonprofit's brand be vulnerable to such a threat? If so, could it survive the attack?" -Nonprofit Risk Management Center

The red cross is such a widely used symbol for medical services and products. I can't remember ever associating the symbol with Johnsons! Low blow people.

This first aid kit is a nice starter kit. I would add more band aids and misc frequently used items. I did add a few to the kit with some re-organizing.

Very Pleased 2008-03-26
I purchased this for a work related site. I was very surprised to see how complete it was. I would recommend this product to others.

Seems complete 2008-03-14
This first aid kit has a lot of things in it. I wish that the product description on the page could have included all of the contents of the kit, but I'm also not willing to type it all out, so I understand their lack of enthusiam to do so. Only complaint is that it didn't have any triangular bandages.

Satisfied Customer 2008-01-09
The kit contains everything you need, is well organized, and can be hung for easy and quick access for emergency situations. The supplier, Backyard Chef, went out of their way to replace the original kit which had arrived damaged. Would definitely purchase this kit again and deal with the same supplier.
