This is one of the best lithium scales I've seen. I have used some of the high dollar scales in the past and this one would match up with them. The only part I don't like is what it tells me.

I am having difficulty getting it to read my weight without having to stand on it a few times. I often get an "err" message forcing me to step off and retry. Have to be very still to get it to make a reading. Could be because I weigh around 300 pounds.

Argh! Over the past hour my weight has varied by up to 4 pounds. The only time it has shown a consistent measure is when I grabbed a 5 pound handweight and stepped back on the scale -- and so it should have measured a 5 pound increase, but the measurement didn't change at all! Very frustrating as I'm serious about trying to lose weight. I don't want false readings to throw me off track.
Also, this thing is the definition of cheap flimsy plastic. Blech. I'm returning this right away to Amazon (FYI it is a very easy process if you find that you need to do the same).
Display went bad after less than a year 2008-07-13
The scale's digital display stop showing several of the last two digit segments, making the readout unreadable. At first we thought that the battery was low, but a new one didn't change the situation.

I bought this product in March 2008 (less than 4 months ago) and thought it was a great product until today. I stepped on it tonight and it gave me error messages about 6 times in a row then it gave me weight measurements that jumped from 160something to 140something (neither of which is correct). I changed the battery and it still doesn't work.
I have just ordered another scale from another website and another manufacturer. Based on my experience with this product, I will likely not buy Taylor again.

Using this scale to track weight gain through pregnancy cause the analog style wasn't cutting it. Works great! Would recommend to everyone who wants a simple digital scale. Just step on it and go!

The scale seems accurate but it is sensitive to weight transfer meaning you may need to stand on it several times before it records a weight.
