Now where is the rest? Seriously Warner Bros. there should not be a holdup of this show anymore. Unless you are prepping this for a Blu ray HD box set, release the rest of the series already. Though a Blu ray set for the rest of the show would be nice.

I was so excited when I received my George Lopez DVD, and now that I can watch it any time I want its even more exciting!
Its great, George is funny, that whole family is funny as heck! Ernie is a crack up!!
I have my whole family watching it. If you love George Lopez show from TV, then this is a must have. :)
Missed this when it was on primetime 2008-07-03
Missed this show first time around, i guess i was busy, who knows, been catching it in re-runs and i gotta say this is one of the funniest comedies i have ever seen , i'm pretty sure George Lopez will go down in history as one of the funniest comedians.Can see why its been picked up by Nick at Nite, because this show has that classic sitcom feel that will still be fun to watching 20+ years from now.

George Lopez is the man 2008-05-19
Excellent and funny as hell although Amazon said they had product in stock when I purchased it and they actually didnt and had to wait almost a month for it to come. Called them after 2 weeks and complained and wanted my money back and they told me that they could not return the money because it was already in shipping mode when it was not, said I could just refuse the shipment when it came and then get my money back. So once it finally came I couldn't resist and kept it but Amazon sucks.

This is a great sitcom that will entertain the whole family. I recomend this to anyone who likes comedy mixed with the everyday life of a suburban blue collared family.
Disputes Galore, No Peace For George Lopez!

George Lopez is a factory worker in a Plane parts factory in LA who has just been promoted to management. His Cuban wife Angie{played by the stunning Constance Marie}, is the good Samaritan & matriarchal "know it all." His father in-law Victor Palmero{played perfectly by Emiliano Diez}, is the Cardiologist who can't accept that his upper-middle class daughter married a blue-collar man. The kids are hyperemotional Carmen{Masiela Lusha}, & dyslexic Max{Luis Armand Garcia}. George's best friend & co-worker is the sweet, insecure, loveless, Ernesto Cardenas{Valente Rodriguez} Now for the other main character, one truly can't describe George's verbally cruel mom Benita Lopez-Benny{played brilliantly by Belita Moreno}. She is a cross between Godzilla & Roseanne{Roseanne Barr}, without the softness. She works with George, chain smokes, & drinks.
This is a blue-collar Hispanic version of the "Cosby Show" with more laughs. In this show a solution given to a problem at the end of one episode often creates new plots while maintaining the basic themes. You have an array of multiple disputes. Cuban vs. Mexican, white-collar vs. blue-collar, dominant wife{George, end of discussion!} vs. cynical husband{George loses 99% of the time}, daughter vs. son, parents vs. kids, George vs. Victor, & everyone vs. BENNY! Typically, episodes that involve her are the most hilarious. She can walk into a room{George move your big Pumpkin head out of the way, your blocking the TV!}, offend everyone in 30 seconds, & then leave for a "smoke & a beer." George's wounds from his fatherless childhood & neglectful mother are at the heart of the show as he & Benny rehash every battle as they draw all into their mini Armageddons. The first two seasons were not the best, but this show got better every season. Lastly, Sandra Bullock deserves credit for getting this show on TV.
loopy for lopez 2008-04-10
My son and I discovered the George Lopez Show about 6 months ago in reruns on Nick. We love it! The whole cast is great, but George and Benny's relationship and banter back and forth is hysterical! We just had to start collecting the DVD's of the different seasons so we could watch whenever we wanted. So far only the first and second season are available, but we are waiting for more!
