Great Product 2008-04-10
All I can say is "WOW!". I bought this product for hundreds under the retail price. I was almost expecting it to be used or maybe damaged for the price I got it at. To my surprise, the TV was brand new and fully functional. I'd recommend the Sharp Aquos line to anybody who wants great high-definition detail with outstanding service length. A must buy!

Decent Value 2008-03-24
I have read a few of the reviews, and feel they are pretty accurate. I don't yet have any issues with the screen, inputs, or outputs. It seems to be a pretty good value for the $699.00 I paid, but much over that, look for a good deal on a 1080p. Best Buy was charging 899.00 for this unit, but that is to much money for this particular set. I made them do a price match, and left the store with it. Look at your budget and what you are going to use it for, if you can spare the few hundred extra, go with the 1080p. If 699.00 or less is your max, this set can compete with anything in it's price range. I bought it as a replacement for my livingroom CRT set(also a Sharp). Quite a dramatic improvement.

Technological difficulties 2008-03-18
After four weeks of good use my Aquos locked up and became inoperable. The buttons on the TV and on the remote didn't work and I received no picture. Since the Sharp help line is not available at night and the manual had no suggestions to deal with this problem I had to unplug the TV to turn the unit off.
The next day we contacted the help line who referred us to a local authorized repair shop that was not too interested in our problem. When I called Sharp again my complaint was "escalated" to someone who walked us through a complicated reset procedure. Sharp advised that the problem was with the cable provider and a signal problem the provider was having with several digital channels. The cable provider has categorically denied they had anything to do with this issue so I called Sharp to try to get an idea of whether I had a defective unit. Again Sharp blamed it on the cable provider, stating they had received "several hundred calls" on this issue and were currently "in negotiations" with the provider about the problem. I was warned not to tune in the digital channel that assertedly caused the problem.
The set is functioning well now but I still don't know whether this unit has a latent defect or if the cable provider is the source of the malfunction but I will be watching the calendar to make sure the unit is operating satisfactorily when the warranty expires.

Great value 2008-03-01
When I bought this set, it was a great bargain at $699 for a hi-def set(albeit 720p and not 1080p). Prices change and that would no longer be a great price, but Sharp Aquos quality must also be considered.
The TV is small enough and light enough to be placed on a turntable on a TV table; as such it can serve my bedroom and then pivot to cover another room also(32" is just large enough to be seen at a distance.) Overall it is an excellent set with a remote which easily selects channels and picture settings with easy pre-set buttons to save time and fumbling around.

Great picture sound a little weak 2008-02-23
Great pic sound a little weak liked it enough after I bought one for my bedroom connected a hd receiver from direct tv I purchased 2 more I have only had em for 3 weeks but no cons would purchase again...

Sharp Picture Works Great!!! 2008-07-15
This has been a Great product No Problems,Easy to Hook-Up.Not as Clear as a Plasma but For a LCD HDTV I think it has a High Quality Picture.

A great TV for me 2008-07-07
I personally love this TV and the picture and sound that it gives. However I must state that the TV it was replacing probably should be in a museum. We have not as of yet upgraded to HD service and are still working on our usual cable service. love the picture which is a huge upgrade from what we had before. Personally the speakers are also great for me but again that is most likely because of where we started from before we got this TV. I love the fact that I am able to have both my DVD player and my Wii hooked up at the same time. The graphics when playing the Wii are great. The colours are crisp and bright. I would recommend that you change the colour settings to what you like as soon as you get it as it makes a huge difference. For the price I would say this was a great TV I am sure if you are worried about the specs etc then yes you could do better but you would also pay a lot more too.

Awesome HDTV. 2008-07-06
This TV is my very first HDTV purchase, so to say my HD upgrade.

Sure, it isn't 1080p, but it gets up to 720p, which is, in my opinion, good enough for the money you'll spend on this TV. The menus are slick and simple to navigate and the inputs are all clearly marked. (Some of the inputs go in on the back, while others, like HDMI, plug into the side.)

To put it straight: If you are looking for a good intro or upgrade to HDTVs, then I'd really recommend this TV. It is perfect for a bedroom or for some living rooms. It is a sleek, good looking TV and is well worth the money spent on it.

Perfect 2008-05-02
This TV is amazing. Perfect size for my bedroom and beautiful image. Sound quality is mediocre but a $80 pair of speakers will fix that. Overall this is worth every penny.

love it 2008-04-19
