I took this product out of the package, put it on and it works perfectly. If you want simplicity, this is your best bet. I've lost weight wearing this.

Hip Pedometer

The Omron HJ-150 Hip Pedometer is great. You don't have to program it by entering your stride, etc. All you have to do is set the time, clip it on and go. The only bad thing is, you have to be careful of if falling off. I wear mine in my front hip pocket so I hit it with my arms alot. You can order a security cord, but I would like to see the clip have more pressure so it can't fall off so easily. I'm already on my second one in a month--they don't survive the washer and dryer!

Omron HJ-150 Pedometer 2008-07-06
I bought three of these for my kids after attending a brain health seminar. It has motivated them to be more active. In the first week I could not get them to stop moving until they had 10,000 steps recorded. I purchased the safety cord with them and would highly recommend spending the $1.25 as insurance. So far, they have been reliable, accurate, well built, and a good value. If you want a slightly better model with more features, go with the Omron 112 which I bought for myself. Although it is slightly larger, you save the $1.25 because it comes with a safety cord and is an even better value for the difference of $6.

Well worth it! 2008-05-22
Pros - very durable, has 7 day memory, very easy to use, cute (matches everything), has a clock, and very accurate.
Cons - Some of the fitness participants have dropped their pedometers several times but they all have kept working, except for one. Other than that, no other cons to list.
Our entire department at work purchased this pedometer based on the reviews it had receive on Amazon. They all love their pedometer. Some had used different brand pedometers before and say that this pedometer outshines the others. Everyone is absolutely happy with their purchase.
Best step counter 2008-05-21
All I wanted was an accurate step counter - and I wasted alot of money until I found this one. It is the greatest. Too many bells and whistles on the fancy ones and the cheap ones count a step when you blink. This one is very accurate and works like a charm. Recommend a "leash" to go with it, tho.
pretty good for the money 2008-05-18
This pedometer is basic but does what it is supposed to. My only complaint would be that the clip does not hold it as securely to my waistband as I would like it to. I have had it fall off a few times. This is not a regular occurance though. Other that that, it works very well!
