Works Right Out of the Box

After being hounded by my satellite company to connect all my DISH receivers, I decided to give this product a go based on price and good reviews here. As promoted, it worked right out of the box and truly couldn't be easier solution for providing data connection where no wiring exists. Only caveat for me was my DSL would not work until I installed a filter between the base unit and my wall connection. Highly recommended as a simple and cost effective solution.

I bought this because I do not have a phone jack behind my entertainment center in my living room. I have Dish Network and I needed this to avoid the $5 monthly fee for having no phone access. The Easy Jack 2 works great and passes caller ID info onto the screen nicely.
Works great thus far, but I hope it works over good over the long haul.

I needed to install a Life Alert system for my ageing Mother with health issues who lives alone. Unfortunately where there were phone jacks there wasn't power and where there was power no phone jacks and I needed both. I installed the Easy Jack 2 base in her bedroom and the Alarm unit in the family room with the remote Easy Jack 2. It worked perfectly first try out of the box and saved me an expensive rewireing project to make the alarm work. I couldn't be happier with the product.
easy install & works fine 2008-06-11
I bought this so i could move my fax/print/scan machine without running wires. I didn't even read the directions and this wireless jack extension works fine. There's a pic on the box. All i had to do was plug the jacks in and my fax in. We've got a wireless network, wireless phone & intercom, other electronics and use cell phones in our office and no interference problems.

Save on your DishNetwork bill 2008-05-16
I have been paying the $5 per month penalty to DishNetwork since I first got their service because I had no phone line near my DVR. But when we added a second TV and DVR, I balked at paying $10 a month just because they think I need one-button access to pay per view. So I bought a Phonex base and two extension units so I could hook up the DVR's to the phone line. As described, the installation is quick and easy. The system works fine, even the caller ID. When I am watching TV and the phone rings, a window pops up on the screen telling me who is calling. This allows me to decide if I want to answer the phone without having to hunt for my glasses and pick up the phone.

Wireless jack works perfectly. Followed instructions, and within 5 minutes had phone connection to my satellite receiver. It has been 6 weeks, and not a glitch. Well worth the price!
