Great for users with tailbone injuries.

My 77 year old mom fell on her tail bone. She was extremely picky about what she sat on. She also couldn't walk. Thanks to this shower seat I could sit her in the shower and wash her. This boosted her self esteem alot. If I had to leave to work for 4 hours I would put the commode pail underneath this shower seat. Then I'd leave the seat by her bed where she could reach it without walking. She never used the commode option but it gave me serious peace of mind since she could never have made it to the bathroom on her own.
