Coby CX-CD377 2007-10-22
Okay... well I went to plug the wires in and the right side has a very loud buzzing noise in the speaker. Plugged in old speakers and it did the same so it wasn't the speaker, just a crap stereo in my oppinion. Mind as well just buy a portable cd-player. And I have to atleast rate this product with one star or I can't post the review but that star shouldn't even be there, it doesnt work!

GOOD PRICE FOR WHAT YOU PAY FOR 2007-10-03
IT WAS VERY CHEAP AND WHEN I GOT IT I FOUND OUT WHY. THE SPEAKERS WERE VERY LOW QUALITY AND THE PLAYER ITSELF WAS VERY FLIMSY.

Was good for two years 2007-09-14
I bought this unit as a gift for my Mom because she moved into a tiny apartment. It worked and sounded great for such a small stereo.
It lasted for two years. The cd player will play a song then not have any sound or stop playing altogether. Radio works fine. You would think it would have lasted much longer.
Never had a cd player do that in such a short time. I won't buy the same brand again.

Disappointed 2007-06-12
Sorry, but this is not a good investment. Even at 40 bucks. Poorly designed and speakers are junk. Offer better speakers and adjust price downward, because fidelity is not good. Unit is just too big for what is does. In my view it has questionable electronics. Has a hum when nothing is coming out of it. May be a suspect power transformer...who knows?. It has an input for MP3, but no line out for perhaps better speakers. No headphone jack. Not very versatile. As far as I'm concerned, this is not a true microsystem. Has Limited capability. Pay the extra and get a SONY.

its ok 2008-07-08
have the system hooked up to an amp for better sound and it really rocks the house.

Cheaply made but works perfect 2008-06-29
works well although is has cheap plastic feel.has a good number of features for the price.

Got here fast 2008-05-14
I ordered this stereo on Monday, I got it on Tuesday. Now, I get to open the box, hope I like what I see.

Disposable stereo 2008-04-10
I bought two of these for teenager bedrooms. They worked for a very short time. The radios still work but the CD went jankity.

Very Pleased with thie Unit 2008-01-17
For $39.00 I am very happy with what I got. I have no buzzing issues with the speakers that others seem to have.I live in a studio apt so don't need a lot of sound. Plus, this can go on the wall which was a plus to me. Reception is very good and sound is fne. I tested this at J&R Music in Macy's basement and this and a (much costlier) Panasonic were the only two that got any reception at all. I would say buy this if your needs and requirements are minimal and you don't need or want a lot of bells and whistles.
