I received my order in a prompt manner. The DVD collection was in excellent shape. I also enjoyed the sitcom tremendously.
A mixed bag

Really slow and painfully to watch at the beginning, but luckily it did pick up the pace towards the end. Almost thought that they had different writers. Now it's really witty and intelligent and good fun again and we are on to Season Ten.
technical glitch on 2nd DVD

Anyone else notice one of the episodes on DVD 2 (I think it was Junior Agent or Bully For Martin) has some weird audio glitch on the audience laughing? I don't know if I just got a bad copy, but everytime the laughter happened it sounds markedly different than normal - staticy, way too much treble, kind of muted-sounding. Really bizarre.

This set of DVDs don't have subtitle option so I'll return these. Actually this is a huge problem and I should have been warned in bold about this. I do not recommend
It's only okay 2007-08-12
While I own each series they've put out on DVD so far, I'm of the opinion the show jumped the shark when Niles and Daphne hooked up. I guess when you set the bar so high with your early series, it's hard to keep the standard high. Once again no extras on this series (not even a commentary). One for the diehard fans only
Disappointing 2007-08-12
This season lacks some of the edge of the previous seasons. It focuses more an extended family of characters and many individual episodes that don't quite hit home and don't serve any real purpose. Some of the trademark witty dialogue is also missing from this season and a focus on slapstick.
However, as an owner of the the brilliant previous seasons, this still serves as a worthy edition. Still better that other sitcoms, just not up to its own benchmark.
Ninth season 2007-08-11
Frasier serie is always entertaning but it lacks the sparks of the previous series. Loks like they had to pull it together to complete the ten years period.
