A must-have.

You pretty much need this if you're going to either play any voice-recognition games on the DS, or if you're going to chat it up on Diamond and Pearl. However...

You get what you pay for. The headset's a little hard to adjust perfectly, and the earloop can be too big, but it's a bargain at 15$. Still, I wish there were more options on the market.

headset loved by my mom and myself

I originaly got it for myself but my mom saw it and wanted one. I got it for her birthday and when she plays the brain age game she told me she loves it. She said it made it so much easier to play the game. We both found it secure in the console and easy to use. Don't be mislead by the fact that it doesn't come all the way to the mouth it picks up sound great.

Nintendo DS Headset was purchased for my grandchildren for Christmas. They love playing Nintendo DS. Having them use headsets is more enjoyable for those around them!

It's okay, nothing special

One question: Why does Amazon ask "How much fun is this game?" when reviewing this headset? It isn't a game, and it isn't meant to be fun.

Anyway, I bought two of these (one for my brother). They work and they're cheap, so I was happy. The quality seems good, but they aren't that comfortable. You can flip it so it fits on either ear...which means it doesn't fit either one all that great. It still stays on fine, but it's hard to get used to in a world filled with comfortable ear buds and bluetooth headsets...

Good assessory for the Nintendo DS

I bought the headset to use with my DS while playing the game My French Coach. The headset is a touch large for my ear, but it does work very well. The microphone is moveable so the user will be able to use it on either ear. A good buy for any person who has a game that this device can be used.

Headphones for DS

The headphones are okay. We tried using it with Nintendogs and it works okay. I think the voice recognition is difficult for these games no matter what you use. It helped a little.

You get what you pay for...the ear fold is to big had to return it and it can only be on your left ear ...no problem there but after a while of playing with it that can get anoying cause you cant switch ears get one that can be on any ear instead of just the one...this head set is plastic cheap you can really feel the cheapness when you wear it...if you need a headset buy some other one not this one
