I only write a review if a product is really good or really bad. This dvd player is really bad. Did not last at least a year.

awes! 2008-05-31
this dvd player is smaller than my cable box, i love it. plays great too.

Good product 2008-05-07
This is a great seller. The product arrived quickly and in great condition. The unit itself is a little loud when it loads movies and chapters, but it works great! I would buy from them again.

Great DVD player for the money! 2008-04-21
I've had no problems with this DVD player, it works well, commands are easy to follow. I think it's great value for the money, esp. compared to the Trutech player I had before. I have a Philips TV as well and have been happy with that too.
I've only tried playing "regular" DVD, not any of the others it supports.

Great DVD player for DVD from all countries! 2008-04-06
Great DVD. Works really well and is easy to make Multi-region. Much better than our previous jwin Multi-region DVD which was flimsy and broke.

Definately worth buying and a great price.

Easy to use! 2008-04-05

great product 2008-04-04
Great product. Not suitable if you have hi-def TV or plan to buy one. For my 8-year old TV, it is great. And it's hard to beat the price.

Great Affordable Region Free DVD Player!! 2008-03-29
DVD Player works as a great Region Free rig once the code found in earlier reviews is typed in! Very simple to do and very effective. I now use it to view my Japanese, Chinese and Korean DVDs as well as DVDs that my other (more expensive) DVD player has trouble with.

Worth the 40 bucks!

Very good picture 2008-03-29
The 12 bit video chip Phillips brags about seems to give a better picture, using component video, than my older DVD players. The digital audio cable output works just fine. The unit is nicely compact, even portable. The remote has very weak signal strength (reason for only four stars). For $36, a great value.

DVD Player 2008-03-27
The DVD player was just as expected. Have had no problems. I do not understand why my account did not show that I still had $11.00 credit because I had a $50.00 Gift Certificate and only spent $39.00 for the DVD including shipping. I feel like I should have been credited the $11.00 so I could make additional purchases. Please respond.
