What a great and pleasant CD. It is up there with one of Mick's best, not forgetting the talent backing him. Can hardly wait for the Live in Cuba DVD I ordered. Another "must have".

Quality production of fair material

Good quality complex vocals and arrangements as to be expected from SR, but somewhat disappointing regarding the consistency across all songs. Overall lyrics felt too familiar to previous work. Only a couple songs have the potential to be memorable and will bring me to revisit the album again.

MICK HUCKNALL IS A GENIUS

Short but sweet, this album of music from the great Simply Red is beyond words. And five stars doesn't do it justice. I've been a fan since the first album and have every album/CD since. They just keep getting better. So Not Over You is a beautiful song sung with that incredible voice of Micks'. If you're a fan, you already know, if you are new to Simply Red, this is a great place to start. My hope is that Simply Red continues to make beautiful music for years to come. Finally a CD with MUSIC, not rap, not emo, no one-hit wonder or whatever else is out there, but an intelligent body of work. Thank God for Simply Red and Mick.

Getting Better

If you love Mick Hucknall's voice, you will not be disappointed. Every song is worth the purchase. All new material keeps getting better. I can't wait for the next Simply Red release.

LOVE this CD!!!

Honestly, I did not even know "Simply Red" was still recording. I remember them from the 80's (Holding Back the Years), but can't remember anything from them since then. I was listening to a jazz station last week and heard "So Not Over You". I immediately came home and ordered the CD. I love it!!

Simply Red

I was very pleased with the process of this purchase. It arrived in a very timely manner, and undammaged. I was also very pleased with this new CD by Simply Red. It has been many years since their last release, but it was worth the wait. I just hope it does'nt take as long for the next to arrive on the shelves.

Simply Red Returns

This album reminds me of the earlier Simply Red works. It is a pleasure to have it on in the background. Be warned though, as in the past, there are songs on this album that will stick in your mind. Good to have Mick Hucknall and the band back.
