Excellent buy!

I am very impressed with this case! It fits my Sansa e260 perfectly, it is well constructed, it protects my mp3 very well, and it has the right openings in the right spots. For the price it would be hard to beat. Keep in mind if you buy, that it has a belt LOOP, not a clip.

I purchased this case for my MP3 player directly from the Eforcity website; the photos used to advertise it are identical to this website. I am a little disappointed in the actual overall appearance of the case...especially the area around the scroll wheel. It does not have stitching, the edges have a melted appearance which I find very cheap and tacky looking. Eforcity's photos make it look much better than it truly is. The areas around the USB port and headphones have this melted edges too, but it is not nearly as tacky and obvious as the area around the scroll wheel. There is a big smear of melted plastic on the inside fabric lining where the magnet is....obviously, in the fabrication process, someone closed it up before it was completely dry. The case also has a very strong chemical smell as if someone dipped it in something toxic. It is absolutely fowl like paint thinner. I do take my MP3 to meetings and I use the voice recorder; I will be stinking everyone out of the conference room with this case! The leather also has a worn spot on the bottom where the black is missing. Also, on the upper right portion of the screen has a deep vertical line on the front surface.
After feeling the inside of the case, I was worried it would scratch. Although I only placed my MP3 into it twice, I was very surprised to see that it did not scratch the surface of my Sansa.
I am going to contact Eforcity and ask for an exchange or a refund. I think I will be happier with one of their silicone cases.

I've had this case for about 8 months, and it's done a great job protecting the player.
PROS:
-Sleek and simple. Surprisingly good leather stitch work for such a small case.
-Player fits snugly, yet is easily removed by gently pushing the sides of the case.
-Heavy leather skin keeps buttons from being pushed, which eliminates having to frequently lock/unlock the buttons.
-Plastic screen cover protects the screen, but does not press against it.
CONS:
-The player plus case is a bit bulky, and may be awkward to carry in tighter-fitting clothes pockets. I just carry it in my hand.
-Buttons require a bit more finesse when pushing them, but you should get accustomed to this within a few uses.
-Record button is not accessible, but when the case is closed the microphone is also covered. If you need to record, it would be better to simply remove the player.
-This may be specific to me, but the opening for my PC port is cut out a bit too far to the left, which doesn't allow my cord to snap in. I would have actually liked the port to be fully covered to protect it from dust and lint.
Overall, the case will keep your player looking like new for a long time. It's got a few setbacks, but you'll quickly forget about them.
Difficult Company to Deal With 2008-05-14
The product was fine. But it took 3 emails to Amazon and finally a phone call to get the shipping information straightened out with the vendor. Will not do that again.

I was happy to purchase this for my Sansa player. The magnetic part holds it tightly, the plastic protects the screen. I am appreciate of the price and overall quality of this leather case. Better than expected!

A great little case 2008-05-06
My only real complaint is that the "record" button is covered by the case. Other than that, it's a nice looking sturdy case. it has a magnetic clasp, and you can hold the case open by opening the case, then plugging the headphones in.
Some people may have a problem with accessing the buttons as the leather is thick. But I think that would be true of any case. due to the small size of the Sansa's buttons.
I really like mine, it's classy and sturdy, and protects the unit nicely.
Great case!! 2008-04-28
Unlike many cases, this one does not inadvertentely push buttons when you hold it. The case's cutouts fit very well AROUND the buttons and not OVER them. The craftsmanship is very solid and well-built. I also appreciate it's style versus those unsightly, clear plastic covers. It has protected my mp3 player from Day One and I highly recommend it.
Excellent case, but flaw in design. 2008-04-23
This case for the Sandisk Sansa seems to be very durable and to offer great protection for the MP3 player, but it's design has a flaw in it.
Pros:
* Fits nicely into the case
* Has a piece of plastic to protect the screen
* Magnet in the cover so it will stay closed
* It's leather
Cons:
* Some of the buttons are hard to push when the player is in the case.
* The case completely covers up the record button
Overall the product has great potential, but is hindered by it's design.
Great Case for the E280 2008-01-01
This is a great little case. The quality seems to be really nice. The belt clip is functional and sturdy but not so bulky as to get into the way when you're not using it. A magnetic clasp keeps the front flap closed. All the controls are easily accessible except for the record button on the side which I haven't had reason to use yet. It's a very sleek and good looking case!
