The darkest of our dark roasts, this is a blend of Central American, Indonesian and African coffees made especially for espresso beverages, although it is tasty by any method. The flavor is strong, full bodied and rich with natural oils. It is perfect for all after dinner drinks and will hold up to the milk in any steamed milk beverage.

Definitely the best

I was so excited to find this coffee on Amazon I nearly wet myself. My local coffee shop uses this company as their main coffee supplier.....and I'm moving to another state. After drinking this coffee for years, then trying other brands (Starbucks, Peets, Seattle's Best Coffee, etc.), I knew there was no way to replace what I consider to be the best coffee. Ever. Whether you're using the italian roast for espresso, or drinking a cup of Vienna, French, Sumatra, Papua New Guinea....eh, it doesn't matter. All of their coffee is an experience for the palate. On top of that, the price for a full pound is a bargain. Now I can take my favorite coffee with me. Yay!

Best roast espresso beans - EVER!

I have been purchasing Boulevard Coffee Company's Italian Espresso Roast for years! It is the BEST! Nice, full-bodied flavor...makes great crema! Would highly recommend over other espresso roasts I have tried including Starbucks, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Peet's, Illy, LaVazza. Try it and you won't be disappointed!
