During the pre-surgical period when the patient lacks the ability to control the leg, Heelift Traction Boot elevates the leg and controls foot drop and rotation. Tricot backing provides the full traction benefit with no boot-bed friction. For post-operative use, remove the traction straps, bar and rope and the product easily converts to a Heelift Smooth Suspension Boot for heel pressure prevention.
