I purchased this product before my husband and I went on a cruise for our anniversary. We did a lot of snorkeling and scuba diving. We couldn't have lived without the housing for our camera. The pictures turned out clear and beautiful.
Awesome case!

I took this scuba diving on wrecks in North Carolina to depths of up to 119 feet; case never leaked. Without the weight it's slightly positively buoyant, but not so much that it even pulls on the wrist strap. Very easy to use without the weight, and allows access to all camera functions.
What About The Annual Gasket Replacement
2008-07-11
The use and care instructions say that the big "O" ring gasket should be replaced annually. Good Luck!!!!! You can't find it listed at [...] as a replacement part and when you call to order it it takes them 30 min to even find the part in the system. I ordered mine 3 weeks ago for $[...] each plus $[...] s&h and they still have not been seen.
I love the way the case works and you can't beat the access to the functions while underwater, however I think that Canon has blown it when it comes to the gasket maintenance.
If I cant trust it to last more than 1 year and I can't get the gaskets from them even after I paid for them the product is not a good deal.
15 dives, 800 pics!
2008-07-08
I bought this camera and housing prior to a dive trip to Roatan Honduras. I took 800 pictures over 15 dives. I have loaded a few onto the review for this product. It works flawlessly. I had the camera and housing down to 108' it worked without any issues. The flash underwater adds so much color for those closeup coral shots. My only caution is becareful how much of the silcone grease you use on the seal. If you use too much and it's clumpy the housing will leak and toast your camera.
The dive master at the resort was so impressed with the pictures we took she now uses this for her personal use.Canon WP-DC14 Waterproof Case for Canon SD750 Digital Camera

Great camera case! The photos are excellent. Could hear the whales on the videos we took. A must have for any water/beach vacation.
Great shell for Snorkeling and SCUBA

Great waterproof case. Flawless pictures from 40 feet below surface. Controls were easy to operate with dive gloves on. Only drawback, camera seems to get warm if left in the on position. Very important to follow instrusctions about keeping seal clean!

This product was great on our recent trip to Cozumel for the underwater shots we took. I would recommend to all who love snorkeling.
Cool pictures!

For a recent Carribean vacation, I considered buying one of those cheap water tight "bags" or this Canon waterproof cases designed for the SD750. I am so glad I bought this Canon waterproof case.
I took it SCUBA diving in 20 feet of water. No leaks. I took it in the pool. No leaks. Great photos.
I could access every function on the camera.
Canon includes a little tube of silicone grease to keep the o-ring lubricated. I re-lubricated the o-ring every morning on my trip.
Photos were great.
The best thing about having the waterproof case on my beach vacation was that I had freedom to take my camera everywhere, and my camera didn't limit where I could go. So I could take lots of pictures. From the hotel room into the pool, to the beach, then a walk along the windy sandy beach with ocean waves splashing, then splashing out in the waves, then taking videos of the waves crashing into me.
If I didn't have this waterproof case, I would have likely kept the camera in the hotel room safe. If I would have brought my camera without a case, I would have stayed on the beach lounge chair. I would have worried about the wind blowing sand and salty mist. I couldn't have gone in the water with my exposed camera, and I wouldn't want to leave the camera on my lounge chair while I took a quick dip in the ocean, so it wouldn't get stolen. So just the freedom of being able to take your camera along with you to the beach/pool was worth it.
I read in the instructions to keep the inside of the case very dry. I can see why now, there were a couple times when the "lense" on the case would fog up (like swim goggles) from the condensation. So I was careful to keep it dry. It recommended to soak the closed case in fresh water for something like 30-60 min after it is exposed to ocean salt water. Then be sure to dry it before you open it to get the camera out. Then let it dry out after that. I suspect a water drop would get in when I was doing this process. If I was careful with this, I didn't have any fogging problems the rest of the trip.
I was so pleased there were no leaks, not even when SCUBA diving 20 ft deep. (It was my first dive.)
In summary, if you are going on a beach vacation and want to take photos around the beach or pool, get this waterproof case. You will be glad you did.
