wonderful swing

I really love this swing. We have a small living room and this is perfect for it. All the features of a big swing in a compact style. It is soft and my little girl loves that. I like how you have many swint choices. The only negative is it is really hard to take her in and out with the toy bar on the swing. It moves back and forth but either way it is in the way to get her in and out. That is the only flaw that I find in this wonderful little swing.
Great travel swing, and space saver 2008-05-30
The best part about this swing is how small it is, and the amount of space it takes up. Perfect for people with an apartment, or small space, or those that need to take it on the go.
We stay in a camper quite a bit on the weekends, and this folds up nicely and goes in the back of our SUV.
Pros:
Travel ability, and storage - A+
SO comfortable, the baby just snuggles right in
Speeds are great, and so is the timer
Batteries last forever
Music is great, and is not annoying
Pretty quiet operation
Cons:
The toys are in a strange place I think, and I could never get them to face quite right.
The strap is hard to adjust.
simple swing, not as ugly as the others

i got this swing because it is small and had the least offensive pattern. although my daughter does not love it- it does swing her to sleep successfully at night and sometimes during the day. it is comfy and blends in well in our bedroom. i don't use the bugs and the music seems to only make my girl angry- but otherwise i'm very happy with it. it does shut off after an hour, so sometimes this is annoying- but the fact that she sleeps longer than an hour in it shows how comfortable it must be. battery life is decent and it is pretty sturdy. i say get it if you don't want one of those larger swing contraptions hanging around your house.
Boppy Travel Swing

It's okay; wish I had known it's limitations before we bought it. When it arrived, some of the cords were disconnected and my husband had to sauder them together to make the swing work! We would have returned it, but that would have been a bigger hassle. However, my son (2/5 months) does really enjoy the swing. It's small so it doesn't take up a lot of room, but isnt' as easy to move around as I had thought. Overall, it's okay, but wish I had just bought one from a store (these just aren't available around us).

SWING # 3...
I ordered the "Boppy rock in comfort travel swing" and it arrived today, 9.5 lb 2 mth old baby LOVES it. Finally, she had a 2 hour nap in the day, finally- I got some laundry done!!! I highly recommend it so far (don't know how battery life is yet). It rocks her well, good vary in speeds, adjustable seat position. Good quality. Super-quiet motor. Seat is like the popular papasan, but in a much less bulky product. Adjustable toy bar, moves out of way.
We had got the FP open top take along swing because it sounded like a great idea. Not like the big bulky papasan that we had to return after 3 weeks b/c it partially stopped working. Got the travel swing home and together, daughter hated it ( but liked the papasan). It rocked her flat on her back, and when it was swinging, her feet were higher than her head at top of upswing. She only weighs 9.5 lbs, but swing didn't swing her well at all. She cried every time she got set in it. It seemed cheap all around.
Easy baby cries in this swing 2008-07-09
Our baby rarely cries, EXCEPT when we place him in this swing. We tried it when he was 2 weeks old, and he still hates it now at 7 weeks. I thought it looked super-comfy, but he doesn't seem to care for it at all. It isn't bad looking and it's easy to move - too bad our son hates using it.

We absoultely love this swing! When we first were looking for a swing we didnt have room for a full size one, so we opted for this one. LOVE the netural colors and the animals hanging down are adorable. Our daughter loves hanging out in here, and it is an AWESOME napping spot! Its easy to move around, and folds down easily to take with you. Battery life is awesome, we've only changed them once in 4 months and we use the swing daily, and on the fastest speed! (Our daughter is wild!!)

After I assembled the swing I realized that it didn't work. My recommendation is to put batteries in it and make sure it works before you assemble it. I called the manufacturer and they send me a new arm. It took another week and a half to get the arm but it finally works.
It's nice and my baby likes it. Good swing for the money.
boppy swing 2008-07-02
this swing folds up so easily, its lightweight, the toy bar is out of the baby's face, and its so cute. I wish it had and AC adapter though, because we use it a lot. I invested in rechargeable c's after purchasing it because I had read some reviews that suggested that, and they are definitely worth the investment.
Good swing but some flaws 2008-07-01
We purchased this swing for our second child. It has been handy being able to move it room to room while taking care of our toddler. The baby enjoyed sitting in the swing right away, but didn't like swinging until 9 weeks. It is comfy and the baby falls right to sleep. However, the swing stops moving after 45 minutes. To get it moving again you need to turn the speed dial off and then back on. The problem with this is that the dial makes a clicking sound at every "speed position" and the clicking wakes up the baby, if the swing stopping hasn't already. Also the music stops playing well before the swing stops. you will also need to use a head support to keep the babies head from slumping to the side, which happens in all swings and seats in the beggining.
All in all we like this swing and it folds up nicely. However it should run longer than 45 minutes or at least we should be able to turn it back on with out the clicking noise as you turn the dial.
