Great Set

The TV looks great. I had read some reviews where some said they had to make several picture and sound adjustments. But so far Ive found the defult settings are fine and the picture looks great. Being a gamer I was also was looking for a LCD set and my Xbox360 games look amazing. But if you still have a Playstaion2 you may want to upgrade to Playstation3 or 360 because Playstation2 isnt HD and doesnt look too hot. I had planned on getting this at Circuit City but on the advice of my Dad I ordered it thru Amazon and saved a few hundred dollars. The only reason Im giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because this type of product needs to stand the test of time before accurate review can be given. I dont want to be one of those fools who rave about something than have it go south. but so far samsung has made a believer out of me.

I have been very, very, very happy with the overall package that this tv provides! I searched a long time, and finally decided that this tv was the way to go for me. I read where some people have complained about the "glare" that they see on the screen, but to be honest, i just can't see it unless i really, really look for it hard! I watched the NBA playoffs yesterday on it, and the sun was blaring through all our windows, yet, i had no complaints...i could see the picture clearly, and without any reflections, and this is considering the fact that we've got a huge bay window right in the den...and it's like 10 foot tall by 10 foot wide....so, take it for what it's worth, but if thats the biggest problem that people have with this tv, then i'm going to be tickled to death. The colors look amazing, and i haven't witnessed in motion blur from watching basketball, baseball or nascar racing....and from what i've read, i'm not sure it's worth paying the extra price for the newer 5271 with the 120hz...i guess it's all a matter of preference, but for me, i couldn't be happier with this tv....this is my 4th HDTV purchase, and it's been BY FAR the best in quality picture!! I guess like the saying goes, to each his own, but for me, i couldn't be happier with the purchase of this tv, and money well spent(and i don't usually say that..but in this case, i really feel like i got what i paid for).

This was purchased for a financial institution lobby to use for advertising and promotions. We've gotten SO many compliments on the look of the TV itself as well as the amazing picture. The colors are very vibrant and the 52" is the perfect size. I would definitely recommend.
Easy to use, great picture 2008-05-12
I bought this screen for use as a monitor in our company conference room. It works great. Simple to use, works fine for what we are using it for. I have heard that the screen is kind of shiny, but since we use it in a room with now real windows, it doesn't affect us.

The TV is very easy to setup. The picture quality is fantastic. Before the purchase, we compared this model to other brands and found the Samsung had the best picture quality. The contrast is very good on this TV. Highly recommended!
Very Good TV 2008-06-14
I purchased this TV about 2 months ago from Amazon and would recommend them over anyone else. You wouldnt believe the people that come over and drool over this TV. I recently hooked my laptop to this Tv so I can play netflix movies and do homework and it is the greatest. But best of all my PS3 looks really good on this TV too. I compared the Sony and Samsung together and yes there is a slight difference but, price was the biggest difference. If Sony came down and did a price match I would consider them but, they didnt and I am happy with my SAMSUNG. Also I had a samsung TV that lasted me 16 years which was great.

I purchased this T.V. for my husband about two months ago. We love it! I did a lot of research and discovered that this would be the best T.V. for our apartment. It is just the right size and has excellent picture quality. For those people who don't know all that much about electronics this T.V. is great; it is easy to set up, easy to use, Samsung products have always lasted a long time for me, and the price is definitely worth it all. All men love this T.V. and our house is quickly becoming the place everyone loves to gather. I also got the Samsung upconverting DVD player free with the purchase of the T.V. and that is also extremely easy to use. Let me reccommend that if you are considering this T.V. no need to look any further, take the plunge and make the purchase...you will be happy you did!

I feel I paid fair price for this model. Don't know the market that
well but did look around extensively. Picture is so good I find myself
paying closer attention to what I'm watching.
Great buying experience 2008-05-24
This was our first buying experience on Amazon.com. They called to schedule a delivery of our TV and actually met the delivery time! The delivery agent was great and most helpful as he unpacked and set up the TV, moving it to exactly where we wanted it. He attached the cable and power to make sure everything worked before he left. It was a great experience and we love the TV!
