Customer Reviews
A great product, but even better they have fantastic customer support
2008-07-17
Bought a set of JBuds a few months back, they sound great
and have been able to put up with all the abuse I put them
through.. The other day, I managed to loose one of the silicon
tips. So I contacted JLabs customer support to inquire about
purchasing new tips.. The support person at JLabs replied
promptly and provided an amazingly good customer support
experience.
Great while they last, which wasn't long for me
2008-07-17
A week ago one side went silent. Yesterday, the other bud went silent. They don't work anymore, so I had to dig up my original ipod issued headphones. I went to my account to see when I ordered these, and it was early March. So these ear buds were very comfortable for the five months that they worked. Do I spend another $20 and hope the next ones last as long or longer? Or get used to headphones I currently have? Unfortunately, $20 is a little more meaningful to me today then it was five months ago, so I'll pass on buying these again. I hope yours last longer.
Earbuds -- What more can I say?

Good product for the price. They stay in my ears during an hour-long run/bike and sound good. Their only pitfall, in my opinion, is the extra-long cord, which gets in my way while running. As a solution, I tuck the extra cord into my waistband -- no huge issue there. All in all, a good, solid product.
Improves the performance of an iPod

The JBuds Hi-Fi Noise-Reducing Ear Buds perform well at both reducing surrounding noise and faithfully reproducing the iPod sounds. These are better than the original earbuds that come standard on the iPod.
Decent Ear Buds

The sound on these is pretty decent. You can listen to and enjoy them at a relatively low volume. I prefer the smaller ear bud cover but there was only one! They do feel pretty flimsy so I'm trying to take care not to yank the cord which is pretty short. It's not short if you're just connecting it to your iPod on your belt or wherever but I use them at my desk at work and they don't reach all the way to the end of the desk. For $20 I think it's a good deal. I'll prob. buy another pair when they break.
Best earbuds I ever owned

Sound great and stay in your ears, even while jogging. A little heavy on the bass but many would consider that a plus. They dont do that good a job of blocking outside noise but I dont consider that a biggie. You would be hard pressed to find a better pair of 20$ buds.
Nice, but they fall-out of my ears
2008-07-19
These ear buds are nice in many respects, they block the noise on the bus well and are comfortable, and seem to produce good sound (although I'm not an audiophile). However, they constantly fall out of my ears. Even when I'm on the bus, they will just fall out. Maybe it is just the shape of my ears, but neither the small or large sized covers "fit" my ears. The only way I can get these headphone to stay in my ears is if I wear a head band or hat.
These ear buds do not block out sound
2008-07-18
I'm really disappointed that I bought these. The silicone adapters that fit into the ear are too flimsy to block out any sound at all. I got these to replace a pair of broken Shure e2c earbuds that did a fantastic job of blocking out sound. Even though they hardly work, I've continued to use the Shure earbuds rather than these JBuds. If you're looking for something with good noise isolating properties, steer clear of these.
Very nice sound quality
2008-07-18
I had been using cheap earmuff type earphones, so perhaps I am not the best judge, however I love the difference in the sound quality. I am enjoying my music much more now. They arrived very quickly as well. I am very happy with this transaction.
Caution when buying!
2008-07-18
I had bought these because they had good reviews and when I got my first pair I was very happy with them. They were much more comfortable than the standard iPod buds and the sound quality was decent (though I listen to mostly audiobooks so the range of sound I require is less than those that listen to music). However, after a few months one of the earbuds stopped working. Then both buds stopped and sound could only be coaxed out of the pair by adjusting the jack around the iPod in a specific position, but would fade in and out. I decided to try one more pair, but the exact same thing happened after a couple of months. I had high hopes and I'm sorry to say I won't buy another pair again.
