The watch is several months old now and I wear it 24/7. Not one problem.

I originally purchased a Nike Heart Monitor with the chest strap. I ended up returning that product. I found it to work well, but I was growing tired of always wearing the strap. Additionally, I have come to the conclusion that I do not need to know my heart rate every dying second of a workout. I call that "overkill" If that is what you want then a chest strap model is your only option. This product is a great alternative to that kind of set up and it works very good. Not perfect, as I find that sometimes its does not get a read immediately. I find it to be be fairly accurate as I compare it to a 10 second manual pulse count. It more than does its job in setting my direction and pace during my workouts.

It also makes a great casual watch with a fully functional stop watch and alarm. Overall, I give the product 4 stars and I do recommend. I got a great deal on this as I believe I caught this on a one day special. I would still pay the current price and not feel cheated.

I bought this watch because I want to know my heart rate at my convenience without wearing my Polar chest strap all the time. I can fairly say it's accurate as I test match it against my Polar HRM. I am heavy on lifting weights but just moderate on aerobics. Lately, I'm beginning to wear this more in the gym!
