I had no problems with this flat panel, no dead pixels. Had it for about a month now. It definately has the best base i have seen in a flat panel. Good buy.

I was a little hesitant at first prior to purchasing this monitor since I've heard of some folks having some issues with windows XP. Not to mention that my current desktop is a 3-year old Sony VAIO computer. However, I took the jump and purchased this monitor and I can say that honestly, I have had no issues whatsoever with this monitor and I am simply amazed at the quality of the display!

I simply used the included DVI cable and plugged the monitor in and went into the control panel on my desktop to adjust the screen resolution to 1680 X 1050. I tweaked the contrast, color and brightness a little bit and that was it. I did not use the audio plug to use the monitor speakers as I have external speakers that I wanted to use separately, so I can't comment on the quality of the monitor's built in speakers. Also, I did NOT load any of the included software as everything worked fine without it!

I have no regrets with purchasing this monitor as the quality is simply AWESOME! If you're wondering about my system specs, they are:

System: Sony VAIO VGC-RA825GY Pentium 4 3.6 GHz/2 GB RAM/250 GB hard drive
Video card: 256 mb Nvidia GeForce 7900GT
OS: Windows XP media center edition

Lastly, for the price, you simply can't beat it!

Bought this based on other favorable reviews I am very pleased so far. The only issues I've encountered are a bit of glare from the glossy screen and a relatively limited viewing angle. I don't do color critical work but everything looks "correct" to my eye. Very nice monitor, I 'd buy it again if I had too.

I bought this monitor for $249.00. So far it has exceeded my expectations. I replaced a 21" CRT monitor. Although the colors are not as crisp, it is an excellent monitor. I don't a great computer hooked up to it, so I don't use the digital connection, but I plan to upgrade soon. The speakers are not the greatest, but I use separate speakers anyhow. The adjustable stand is rock solid. I selected this model also because it has USB ports in the left side. Great monitor for the price!

I have had the HP w2207 for nearly four months now. Thus far, I have not had a single complaint regarding its performance. I use this monitor primarily for reading and sometimes for watching movies. It works right out of the box without the need for any software. It is fairly adjustable and has 4 different ways you can adjust the swivel, tilt and height of the monitor. I can adjust my reading angles very easily. It has reduced my paper utilization by almost 100% because I can read from this monitor for hours at an end and not incur any eye strain. It has a low contrast low brightness preset text mode to which I can switch while reading.

The colours are unbelievably sharp and vibrant. It makes movies come alive with its truer than life colours. The attached speakers, as many reviewers have noted, are worthless. But, come on! Did you really get the monitor to function as a speaker??

HP w2207 is a winner in every way. With the recent sharp cut in its price, its worth every penny. I would strongly recommend this monitor for those looking to read a ton of text online and watch movies as well.

This is a beautiful monitor! I have researched several 22" monitors both in person and on the web and this HP monitor is by far the best there is! The screen is vivid and it works wonderfully with Windows Vista programs. I highly recommend this monitor to anyone!

I bought this monitor mainly because of the low price and positive reviews. I mainly buy re-furbished computer goods because I have never had a problem. This monitor is no different. Except for the packaging you would not know this was not a brand new monitor. I have been upgrading the monitors for my home computers and this is the third one I have purchased recently. It is also the best though it cost $50.00 more than the previous two. All are 22" monitors. It looks real good, has multiple adjustments, is easy to adjust and best of all has a really sharp and detailed picture.I would say if an extra $50.00 does not pain you too much spend it and buy this monitor. After all you will probably spend many many hours looking at it and the extra $50.00 will long be forgotten.
