Works well, cord too long

I couldn't believe how quiet it was! Kept my Dell laptop nice and cool for longer.

My only concerns: The cord is too long! I mean is it really necessary to have a 3 foot cord for something that will sit right below the laptop. Seriously what were they thinking??

The other concern is that its slippery. The laptop easily slips and slides around on it, especially since my laptop is bigger (15" laptop) For the price though, worth it...

I bought this product because my laptop gets so hot that I can't have it on my lap for more than 10 minutes without being very uncomfortable. I am nervous about leaving the laptop on my laptable that I bought because it is made of vinyl and I am afraid it will start a fire. I was also concerned that the heat will fry my laptop. Within 10 minutes of having my laptop on top of this cooling station, the bottom of the laptop was totally cool, like it wasn't even on. The fan in the cooling station in so quiet that it is hard to tell when it is plugged in. I would recommend this product to anyone with a laptop.
