worlds best cane

This is the second cane I have bought from Amazon. Both are identical, easy to adjust and light weight and durable. They both easily support my 250 lbs. Can`t beat the price and service from Amazon. Jim
good cheap cane 2008-02-16
i just received this cane a couple of days ago. the most important thing to me was that it is adjustable to 31", because i am only 5' tall. some sites advertise that it only goes to 33", but they are wrong. if you need it even shorter, the bottom can be cut with a bandsaw or hacksaw, as with most canes.
the polished wood handle is smooth and comfortable, although it has no padding at all. the shaft is made of aluminum, which supports up to 250lbs. the shaft is made adjustable by a simple push-button device that adjusts in 1" increments. it also has a locking ring towards the bottom to help hold it in place (safety feature?).
i am happy with the "splash" color, it is lively but not too gaudy. the background is silver, and it has splotches and slashes of paint in metallic blue, purple, green, pink, all along the shaft.
overall, this is a good, very affordable cane. i am happy with it.

I was in need of a cane that didn't look like it came from the hospital store room. I hunted Amazon and found 3 different canes that fit the bill. This is 1 of 3 canes I found and purchased from Amazon. I was so surprised and pleased that all 3 arrived at the same time, and were packaged separately. I purchased this item in green, and found it to be very nice, sturdy but yet light weight, and not a scratch on it. The only trouble I had was removing the sticky labels. After wrapping a hot, moist dish cloth around the labels and letting it soak until cool, the labels came off; but had to repeat the process a couple more times to remove the sticker glue. If you're hunting for a 'designer' cane to replace those not so pretty hospital gray canes, then I would suggest trying one of these...with a number of colors to pick from. I found this item to be a great buy!
My new cane 2007-08-23
I ordered this cane on a Monday, and it arrived on Wednesday morning!!! It looked just like the picture advertised, and I love it: and it's easily adjustable and very light. I also bought a tripod base which helps with easing the impact of the cane when I use it, and provides a more secure and stable feeling. I would HIGHLY recommend both products.

Of the many adjustable canes out there, this silver-hued cane with splashes of color looked like it would be fun. And it is, but I was a little disappointed. Most of the splashes are purple, although a bit of green and blue show and there's a patch or two of yellow, and a lot of the silver shows through - it reminds me of a blustery, rainy day. The cane also had 2 large stickers right below the collar, and I still haven't gotten the gummy-stuff off. However, the T-style, more fitz-like handle is comfortable, it will go with jeans or dress-down a nicer outfit, and it's a nice change of pace from solid colors or more monochrome patterns without being too busy. Its adjustability also comes in handy, and it was a good buy.
Good product 2007-07-27
This is a great cane and an outstanding value. But just to let you know, the "cyclone blue" is really purple so keep that in mind when picking out a colour. Had I known I would have gotten a different colour but at least I am a girl so it's not embaressing! I have MS and it's really handy to have this cane around. Plus, at 25 years old I don't want an old granny cane!
