Works Great and looks good 2008-07-20
This thing looks Great all Chrome and pretty blue LEDs. and the performance is even better, near silent running and keeps my Memory much cooler used to almost burn me to the touch. running at high clock. now its just VERY warm. and Fits very snugly, and the different mounting options it comes with is great I had a very tight fit in my case, CPU Heat sink and MOBO Power right next to it. took a while to get it right, but got it fine. Great buy, If you have a heat issue, GET THIS you wont be disappointed.

Does what it needs to do 2008-06-19
Picked this up to cool down my RAM, 4x1GB Crucial Ballistix PC8500 1066MHz (which runs quite hot).

Machine specs include a Thermaltake Armor full tower case, Q6600 with Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro, GeForce 8600GT, Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R motherboard, and tons of case fans. The blue LED lights go with the rest of my led fans, and are quite bright. Installation was simple as installing two brackets and maneuvering it to grip the RAM clips. Dropped the RAM temp by ~ 5-7C average.

ooh aah 2008-02-23
Firstly looks great with the blue glow from the leds and the shiny chrome finished case. However it is too big and if it was 1 mm bigger it would never have fit in my huge computer. Also if I had a video card in my AGP slot it would never fit in a million years. I don't know how good it works because my ram has no temp. monitor but I know it has to be working because I can feel the massive air flow with my hand. I haven't had any problems and I have no complaints other than the size factor. All in all this was a good buy and I would recommend it to a friend as long as they have the space.

Great...almost 2007-09-08
I am using this cooler to cool some very low latency Patriot memory sticks. I had to up the voltages on these DDR2 memory sticks, so they run SUPER HOT. That said, this cooler is awesome. It keeps the temps down, and actually has lowered my overall mobo temps by 5 deg C!
What I don't like: While pretty, the chrome case is exactly what you don't want in a machine that has a 8800 GTX or Ultra in it. The cooler in my machine actually rests across some components on the big card! If it were plastic, I wouldn't mind. However, the metal case caused a lot of concern. I placed some Scotch linerless 130c rubber tape and some Scotch 33 tape over the end of the cooler to keep it from shorting out the video card.
Otherwise, a nifty cooler! Very pretty and very effective!.

too big 2007-08-13
I have a Gigabyte GA-8S667 Motherboard. It's a standard ATX board(not a mini ATX). The Ocz Xtc Memory Cooler ended up being too big to fit in my system. The AGP card is up too close to the memory to allow for the cooler to fit onto the lower memory slot clips as it's designed to do. It's a well made product, but I think they could have made a design that is more compatible with more Motherboards. I ended up just drilling a hole in the side of my case and mounting a 80mm fan instead, and I think it works much better anyways.
