I wanted an adaptor for my Sansa MP3 player, because I knew I wouldn't always have a computer handy to charge it when the battery was low. I travel a lot, so taking a desktop PC isn't very handy, and who wants to pay for computer usage at internet cafes just to charge up an appliance. It charges very quickly and especially worked great for me on a recent trip I took to Great Britain. I just plugged it up using an electrical outlet adaptor overnight or whenever I was getting ready in the morning. The only complaint I would have is that I think this adaptor should be standard equipment along with the MP3 player, not just the USB cable. Thankfully, it's a great price...if it's the only product you order though, the shipping and handling costs more than the actual product!

I had my doubts about this charger due to the price but this charger is great. Charges faster than the computer. I can't belive the price! I bought two and both work perfectly.

It pretty much does what a charger is supposed to do: charge my mp3 player. Because it's not the USB charger, but rather a wall charger, you're able to still play music and use the player normally. Hold the power button until your Sansa goes to the "Charging" screen, and it'll charge faster than just leaving it in the menus.
The only thing I would criticize it is that it feels a little cheaply made, like if you were to drop it, you would be out of luck. I don't think I'll be dropping it any time soon, and for $7 including shipping, you get what you paid for :].
I would recommend it. It's a lot better than charging your MP3 player through the USB cable.

The thing I like the best about this charger is you can play your music or videos while it's charging.
It's also very compact so doesn't take up much space when traveling.

Best Investment Ever 2008-07-10
I bought this charger with my Sansa e250 when I learned that you can't play music while plugged into a computer. This charger works perfectly. It's small (I can easily fit it into my pocket) and it charges much faster than when I connect to a PC.
The only "minor annoyance" that I had was the fact that I received a "Generic Replacement Model" instead of the model pictured. There's no brand names or logos pointing to who made it, but at such a cheap price I won't complain... much.

Standard AC adapter. There's an LED to indicate that the adapter is plugged in (no charging status indicator). For the price, definitely pick up a few of these for your travels.
