The pieces are light in weight, large in size (about 3/4" thick for easy handling), and interlock loosely so even pre-schoolers can assemble them easily. All are precut, safe, sturdy, and water-resistant. The colors are non-toxic stain-like impregnated finishes. The Baby Chick is approximately 6-1/2" high, 5-1/2" wide, and is Yellow in color.

We found out very quickly from a teacher, that a pre-schooler asked where was the baby chick? Because you couldn't have the Rooster ( W-1171 ) or the Hen ( W-1208 ) without having the babies first. So, it became neccessary to design this puzzle.

This whole topic proposed by this innocent pre-schooler, has been the topic of discussion of many a learned man for a great part of an aeon of time. Whether you are a religionist or follow a scientism point of view, it will remain a topic for all time and will forever be divided as to the final analogy of origin. [Just so you know, I only know of one person who knows the true answer.]

Never-the-less, we aim to please, especially the persons who are the reason for our business concept! The KIDS. (Remember, we're all kids at heart.)
