Best Electric Shaver I Have Ever Used!

Simply the best, better than all the rest.

I have owned many electric shavers from Braun, Remington, Norelco, No frills brands etc. This one out shines them all in every category its like using shaving cream and a blade.

The reviewer who said they had used a Braun Shaver for 17 years then tried this and didn't like it saying his old one was better well after that many years. Your going to have to give any razor some time for your skin, hair etc to get use to it.

It charges fast and cleans even faster, The closeness of the shave is good at 6 months as it was when first used!

The main question is do you want to spend this much on a razor well if you want a very close shave and high quality precision then the answer is yes!

Overall, a good electric shaver. However, there is still no electric that can match a good razor shave, such as provided by a "multi-blade" model razor. The self-cleaning feature works well and it provides an adequate shave and is certainly more convenient than a regular razor.

Pulsar and Norelco

I bought the Pulsar 2 months ago hoping for a better shave than what I was currently getting from my Norelco 8825XL Spectra with newer blades. I had some hairs on my neck the Norelco wasn't getting, didn't seem to be that close any more and shaving was taking to long. Tried cleaning and adjusting, things were better BUT. So I tried the Pulsar, easy to use out of the box, just plug it in and go. Easy to clean with included brush, breaks down easy and can be washed under the tap. I never even had to open and use the enclosed cleaner/charging base. Shave was faster on my cheeks/face, not as irritating. Neck was more of a problem, here the Norelco was faster and less irritating. For the money I expected better overall. This razor can not be returned/sent back as when it is charged it is considered "hazardous material", something that is not mentioned in the product description but is mentioned as part of the general Amazon return policy. So be aware of this for this product and possibly other rechargeable products. Clarify before you buy.

Clean Shave

Gives a clean shave quickly. Poor quality travel case. Would be happier if alcohol were not needed in the charger.

Worth the price, only for those that need this.

I have a tough (quirky) beard that requires daily shaving. So if I shave every 24 hours, almost any shaver will do. If I go 48 hours, then I really have to work at it, going over certain areas again & again. After 72 hours, I have to get out the old double edge Gillette razor. Much to my pleasant surprise, the Braun 9585 will take off a 72 hour growth with little more effort than a 24 hour beard. It won't give your a closer shave than many others (the thickness of the foil prevents that) however, this baby will take it off better & faster than anything else. It's very expensive though; I only bought it because I was able to combine several discounts etc. So, if you always shave every day & don't have a particularly tough beard ... save your money. If however, you're like me, this baby is a dream come true.

Better than most razors but still not perfect

This razor is really cool and is so simple to use. It works great and provides a very close shave to ALMOST every part of your face. There are still some issues with getting on the neck in those hard to reach areas. You have to be careful or you end up rubbing your neck raw and that looks worse than if you missed a spot. All in all, a great razor and much easier and faster than a regular razor. 4 out of 5.

Braun Pulsonic Razor

The Braun Pulsonic is comfortable to use. Don't expect a closer shave than less expensive models from Braun and other manufacturers. I was hoping for a lot more from the Pulsonic razor. That said now that I own it I will use it until an electric razor comes out that can actually give us a close and comfortable shave like a blade can. If that day comes the Pulsonic will become a paperweight, a rather expensive one at that.

I will tell you what anyone who gave this shaver a bad review must be cracked, I have never been able to use a electric shaver because my beard is so heavy every one I used didn't even touch it, just pulled and pinched my hair. I decided what the heak I will try another one. Man this thing is awesome I had about 3 days of stubble this thing went right through it like a hot knife to butter I can't believe it this thing it is a little pricey but you know you get what you pay for. If your wondering about its performance don't just get it I am glad I did.
