Perfect 2008-09-25
Replaced an Intel wireless G wifi card in my Dell D630 that had a weak signal. Wife's wireless G card worked fine. After the swap, I didn't even have to reload drivers - the card just worked. Fixed the wireless G problem I was having instantly. Haven't tried wireless N mode yet as I don't have a wireless N router.

Thanks to provider.
I'm happy to get the product. I installed it in a Dell Vostro 1500 Laptop computer.

Easy N-draft upgrade 2008-07-08
I recently upgraded to an N-draft wireless router. Unfortunately my HP 2710p tablet notebook came equipped with a G wireless card. The new N-Draft provides 2x's the wireless speed over G.
Rather than purchase an external wireless network card for my HP2710p tablet notebook, I simply ordered the Intel wireless WifI mini card, carefully opened my the bottom cover of the 2710p, removed (2 screws and two push on wires) the old wifi card and installed the new card. I then went to the HP site and downloaded the current Intel wifi drivers. I selected the Intel card because it is approved by HP so the 2701p's BIOS would recognize it. This is very important.
Easy upgrade, if you're comfortable taking things apart, for about 1/2 the price of an external wifi adapter. I like the built in design.

Works in Dell XPS M1730 2008-07-07
This was a very easy install and the card works perfectly. Just remove the previous card and insert this one and attach the third cable that is already in the notebook to the center connector and after the restart Windows detected and installed the network card without asking for anything. Resetup the Wireless SSID Network Profile and everything started working agian. I have a Dell XPS M1730.

I see there are people that have problems with IBM/HP just keep in mind that HP and IBM are now restricting the upgrade of the Wireless cards VIA the BIOS. You must purchase a HP or IBM bios enabled Intel Wireless card. Search on EBAY for more information it is a common problem now.

Did What It was Supposed to Do 2008-06-28
Bought this Intel card to replace the one in our Vista/Ubuntu Acer 5920 Centrino notebook. I gave my dad the original card so that his HP would "just work" with Ubuntu.
Wasn't sure what we'd get, but the card came in an Intel box, with Intel driver CD, Intel directions, and a handy little Intel plastic "wallet" that protects the card.
My dad's HP came with an Atheros 5007. Once we replaced it with the Intel, he got a stronger signal and the connection seemed noticeably faster.

Awesome Upgrade 2008-05-04
8x the speed of Wireless G on my network, as advertised. Moves files a lot faster around my network, and streams media more cleanly from my Windows Media Center PC. If you know what you're doing and can pull apart your laptop, this is a cheap upgrade for your board if you've already got an Intel wireless G card inside. And for 1/3 the price. Thanks Amazon

Works great in my HP Laptop 2008-04-30
This was pretty easy to install in my HP (intel) laptop. The Laptop purchased at Costco in Feb came with the Intel BG version of this card which uses the same driver as the AGN card. The 5GHz N connection with the Linksys WRT600N is rock solid and fast. I purchased the card and router due to heavy interference in the 2.4GHz band in our office. This card is a great deal if you have an Intel based laptop.

Great bang for the buck. Gateway MT6705 Laptop 2GB of ram 2008-03-23
This product exceeded my expectations. Does not ware on the battery life. I installed this in about 20 minutes the video that one of the customers showed on how to install the card was exact on the money. The internet works EXTREMELY FAST on B and G networks and lowers the legacy time about 5MS to 10MS per website. Drivers worked seamlessly for Vista SP1 and is a good compliment to larger enterprise networks and works awesome on Verizon Fios. Please contact me if you have any questions. This is a great card for the money. THIS CARD SHOULD ONLY BE INSTALLED BY A TECHNICIAN THAT KNOWS WHAT HE OR SHE IS DOING. IF THIS IS NOT DONE PROPERLY IT CAN RESULT IN VOID OF WARRANTY OF CARD AND COMPUTER. so know what you are doing before attempting to install this data card.
