Total disappointment!

My first clue to the poor quality of this item was the battery compartment. It was award and flimsy. The little coils made it almost impossible to install the batteries. The Ipod compartment materials seemed less sturdy than the package wrapping. When I finally got it all put together (less the wrist strap, that was missing from the package), the volume kept decreasing on in's own. The troubleshooting guide said that this means the batteries needed to be replaced(I had just put in the brand new batteries which came with the unit). I tried to get them out to try another set and the little springs made it nearly impossible. I know when to quit. This is a poorly made item with cheap plastic components. It is my first return EVER to Amazon.
Great Little Set of Speakers

This is a wonderful little set of speakers that doubles as a protective case. The sound is surprisingly good for such a small set of speakers. Several of my friends have now bought themselves an iMainGo because they were so impressed with mine!
A few design flaws to be aware of: The battery compartment is clunky to get the batteries into and there is no external power switch, so it's easy to forget to turn the unit off. I also wish there were an AC adapter so you could run the speakers without using up your batteries.

Did a lot of research and everything I read about the Portable Sound Lab
was great. I ordered one for myself & one for my daughter. GREAT product.
Doesn't Last

When I first received the product, it worked and sounded great! I loved it! It's small enough that I could throw it in my purse and take it anywhere. After 2 weeks of using it, you could only keep the volume low or it would sound like a radio station that is full of static. I think for the the cost, you could get better speakers.
