hand held ultrasound

Very good product. I doesnt seem like it is working, but it really is. I use it 2-3 times per day on the soft tissue of my knees. I noticed a differnce in about 2-3 days.
A lot of money to waste

During its first use, I felt some heat generated by the action of the product. However, after that first use, I never felt anything else. The manufacturer swears that you should not detect heat in the first place, so the fact that I was feeling nothing was "normal". I've read up on ultrasounds, and that's not suppose to be the case. They would not accept a return, even though it was during the return period. So I'm out the money for a worthless electronic device. It does make a nice buzzing noise though. :(

I am from Canada ,i got neck pain,shoulder pain,arm pain,back pain all my muscle pain for about 3 years , i only can sleep in 2-3 hour a day .My neck can't turn to right and left,sometime pain killer do nothing for me ! have been spend a few thousand for treatment !

I used to therapy for my shoulder and neck in first day,not all my pain can relief yet. But,i can see the improvement just the day one ! my neck and shoulder muscle become softer ,tension gone about 50% ,my neck also can turn to right and left slowly and Pain relief about 40% !

Nice portable ultrasound with good relief. 2008-06-10
2 months ago I paid more than twice for this product($199)! I am not happy with the price going lower after my purchase, but I have to say I love the product and it does a good job. Medical Products Online whom I bought the product from also has great customer service. I love the travel case the unit came in. It's VERY portable and lightweight. You might want to think about buying some extra ultrasound gel, since what you get is a small amount.
Didn't work for me 2008-05-23
It didn't work for me. It claims to create "deep penetrating heat" though the only heat I felt was generated by the electronics of the device and not the vibration of molecules in the tissue as claimed. The amount of heat is similar to that which might be generated by a battery powered screw driver or drill. Not much. I felt that the only massage I got from this device owed to the movement of my hand as I ran it across the muscles. Exactly what you'd get if you pressed and rubbed any object across the muscle. I don't think my unit was defective per se as water drops placed on the head of the device "atomized" just as the manual claimed they should. Ultrasonic massage may work in general but I suspect this model comes up short due to a lack of power. Very disappointed.

I purchased this device after persevering with nagging tendinitis in my left elbow (Lateral Epicondylitis) and right wrist (de Quervain's Tendonitis) for five months. Before the purchase of my Ultrasound from Medical Products Online at a great price I might add, my life was miserable the pain I experienced in my neck was unbearable. I had surgery 5 years ago from a ruptured disc in my neck which left me with severe spammed muscles in my neck and shoulders. Below is a list of treatments that were preformed on me:
Botox injections- which paralyzed my neck for 6 months. It took me two years to get rid of the toxins in my body. Could not hold my head up for long period's time.
Steroid injections caused serve mood swings and more toxins in my body.
Pain Medication and Muscle Relaxers at one point I could not even drive. Was totally incoherent.
Physical Therapy far too many times to count with little to no result.
Surgically injected steroids up my spine twice, once causing me to have amnesia for 3 months.
I was told by my Neurologist that my muscles were damaged to the point that they would never relax.
I was told by my Pain Specialist that I would be on medication all my life.
One Thanksgiving after cooking a dinner my feet were so sore I was unable to walk on them because the bottoms were so soft from not walking because of the pain generated in my upper back and shoulders. All I could do was sit in a recliner. I could not even read a book or get on the computer the pain was too great to bend my neck I had NO range of motion because my muscles where so tight.

Updated review of portable ultrasound

After recieving unit with falty power unit and calling company, assured I would recieve new unit. When no unit came or email after one week I gave bad review. I should have called Company first because 1 day later new power pack arrived and unit works perfectly. Company also called to see if unit arrived and wanted to know if it worked properly. I was given good advice on how to use unit. I would recommend this product and this company. Also purchased tens unit delivered in 4 days to Florida. 5 star
Nice Home Ultrasound 2007-09-24
Portable Ultrasound works great. Got relief from patellar tendonitis with the first use. Not cured, but increased pain free range of motion. Comes with a 2oz bottle of ultrasound gel, not the larger bottle shown in the picture. I highly recommend it. One annoying feature is the bright blue "on" light on the head of the unit. Tends to shin in the eyes, but easily covered with a finger.
