Digital Frame 2008-05-01
I bought this as a gift for friends and they say they are very happy with it.

get what you pay for, which isn't bad 2008-04-09
Resolution not bad considering the size. Pretty affordable since it's a coby, will playback video (with great frame rate), built in speaker, lots of memory card options, even a usb jump drive. With that being said, probably the one thing that annoys me is that it doesn't remember any of your slideshow settings, so if you turn it off, and you told it to repeat folder, you have to go back and change it again. Also, it doesn't seem to like booting up with a usb stick already in, I have to turn it on first, let it see no memory, then plug the usb drive in.

Pretty good, but missing something 2008-01-01
This picture frame has no internal memory. You must buy some type of memory for it before you load. I tried a flashdrive, but it sticks out the side of the frame and looks bad, so I put a memory card in it that I happened to have. This was a gift and I am glad that I had it sent to me to load since they would have had to go buy a card.
Pretty good pictures once you get it running and fun to display. Not bad quality, but certainly not as good as the 8 inch Kodak with internal memory that I also bought.

Easy to use, but overall- Disappointing 2007-12-21
I ordered this item as a gift on 12/14 and received 12/21, regular shipping, with no problems. I was first disappointed to see that this frame has no internal hard drive to actually load the photos onto (but perhaps I did not read the description of the product carefully enough); however, my SD card worked great. Setup was quick and easy. The two wood frames are very nice looking- So far so good... Started the slideshow, and voila pictures appear- the pictures appear very grainy closeup (vertical lines throughout), and yet does appear a bit clearer at a distance. For such a small sized frame, I expected great looking, quality photos, like the ones on the SD card I loaded it with. For the money (frame + external storage) and size, I did not think this product delivered as it ought. I have a Ceiva digital frame that is about 4 years old with a slightly larger viewing area and lower-res photos appear very clear. I would try a different digital frame than this one....

Don't bother 2007-12-21
Ordered 3 of these on 12/15 and only now, 3 days before Christmas, did I receive an email stating they are out of stock. I refuse to deal with online vendors again when they give poor service such as this.

Review: ... "Click! The No Nonsense Guide to Digital Cameras" is misnamed. It covers a lot more than just cameras. In a couple of hundred pages, it includes using a scanner and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 to rescue faded, damaged family photos, the basic guidelines to good picture taking, how to use Elements 2 to improve your digital photos, and how to print and preserve your pictures for the ages. White, the author of the bestseller "How Computers Work," knows how to pack a lot of helpful, understandable information in a brief no nonsense book.

Review: "This Camera is one of the best in its price range. It takes beautiful clear pictures and can be used right out of the box, but its worth learning all its features. The included memory holds about 20-25 pictures so I upgraded to 128mb. I reccomend getting a 128mb card and the Sony camera case. Not only is this one of the best cameras in its class it includes decent software and rechargeable batteries that are at least a 20$ value.
HIGHLY reccomend over canon, kodak, and fuji. One more thing this camera has CARL Zeiss lens (if you dont know, great lens) all the competetors have generic lens."

From the Back Cover The megapixel hype
The fact is a camera’s megapixel rating is only a measure of how many pixels (photosensitive sites) an image sensor has…. An image sensor is simply one component of an entire system that produces a digital photograph… So resist buying into the megapixel hype when you’re choosing a digital camera. From Chapter 1
