Inexpensive and works!

I was looking for something to help me figure out which batteries still have enough juice in them to power items small and large, and this seemed to fit the bill. Sometimes a battery might not have enough power to run a digital camera, but would still have enough juice to run my remote, for example. This product will help me with figuring that out.
Don't throw out those good batteries

When you have a battery operated item which requires multiple batteries, one may be dead and the others perfectly good. This battery tester will pay for itself in saved batteries which you would have thrown out not knowing which one was dead.

This battery tester does what I bought it for. It is easy to use although you must line up your battery correctly, is easy to read, was inexpensive, is compact, and arrived super fast. No complaints from me.
Didn't work

I thought it was going to be a steal but it didn't work. I emailed the company and they gave me a full refund - they said I could keep the tester anyway but I threw it out.

I was a little skeptical at first becasue it was so cheap. Once I tried it we were thrilled. Just what we were looking for.

New Battery Tester. This is a new battery tester. You can test 9 volt, AAA, AA, C, D and even watch batteries. This compact battery tester is great for watch repair. It measures approximately 4 3/8" x 2 3/8" x 1 1/16" (111.6 x 60 x 27 mm).

I have a much smaller, much sturdier, much easier to use tester that's about 20 years old. I've realized I could use several of these devices (to have on hand in several different locations), couldn't find any in my local stores so turned to Amazon. This device suffices and is inexpensive, but I'd pay more for the features of my original tool.
Mine broke....

...but it did last for a while (more than a year). I might have dropped it and something got loose inside. For the price I paid for it, I think it really was a good deal. There are a lot of battery testers you can buy - some even sell as much as 30-50$ (some even need a battery to test a battery). So, why would you pay more? You just want to know if the battery is good or bad. This is good enough. Simple and easy to use.
Just as good as the more expensive ones, it could really benefit from a spring but you can use a rubber band.....

Just as good as the more expensive ones, it could really benefit from a spring but you can use a rubber band from the vegetable section at the grocery store.
The red slider is adjustable and comes in contact with the Positive ( + ) tip of the battery but the battery can slip out unless you have tighter than normal grip on the red slider and black base that is also the gauge.
OR, you can just take the wide rubber bands that come on a stalk of carrots or broccoli and wrap it around the back of the slider and the base. See my user uploaded photo.
I'd recommend this,
Useful product at reasonable price

Very handy. Works on all popular battery sizes. Great way to determine strength of batteries that have been lying around the house for a long time. I have also tested batteries that I use in devices that take multiple batteries and can quickly determine if one or all of them need to be replaced. There are similar products on the market that likely work as well. This was one of the least expensive, is easy to use, seems durable and does the job.
