Excellent Phone System 2008-06-24
This is a well designed product. The base is attractive and easy to use. It has both it's own digital answering system which can be switched off, and an alert light if you use voicemail. Ii would recommend this to anyone.

Best Phone Ever 2008-05-30
The whole reason I got the phone was for the Blue Tooth capabilities. I use it at my desk so I can be wireless and it meets that criteria very well. I wasn't expecting all the other features that it came with like the answering machine. The answering machine has an indicator light and will beep to let you know there's a message waiting. I like that! The display is very easy to read. I could go on but the main points I've made and I couldn't be happier with it.

Amazing Phone for VOIP 2008-05-01
We purchased this phone for Outburst Web (www.outburstweb.com), a web design and development company in Indianapolis, IN. We signed up for Vonage VOIP and I searched extensively for a phone before purchasing a Philips 6.0. I'm not sure if I just had a defective product or didn't know how to use it, but the phone kept dropping calls after about 30 seconds of conversation. I immediately sent the phone back and found this one. I have been more than happy with this purchase and the phone works great with Vonage VOIP. You will be satisfied with this product!

Great Phone 2008-04-20
The Bluetooth features are GREAT. Really like the phone. Some others have more style but function for dollar none that I have seen or used beat this phone.

Excellent cordless system 2008-04-14
I ordered the base unit with 2 extension handsets and couldn't be more pleased (well - I could be a little more pleased)

Sound quality is excellent as is the range. I love being able to link in my BT cell phone and my BT headset.

Only downside to this phone (and the extension handsets) is that you need to enter your contacts into EACH phone's address book. It would have been great if the base unit stored a central address book and pushed it to the extensions. Oh well

poor performance 2008-04-05
This phone almost lived up to its expectations; however, it continually would drop our calls as the handsets would try "searching for the base". This was frustrating during calls but the handsets would beep throughout the night as they were "searching for the base" even when they were on the base recharging.

hard to use 2008-04-03
This phone was a four star choice on Amazon
I will give it only two it is a cell phone for the house
and while talking it gives off a pulseing sound and you think you lost the party you are talking two. It reminds me of a ham radio, rodger that then you wait for the other party to say roger.

It works but I'm taking it back 2008-04-03
The phone works basically as advertised but has a few shortcomings that I can't accept, therefore I'm returning it.

First, the phone number directory is lacking. The base unit and each handset have separate directories and there is no mechanism to synchronize the directories between the units. The directory information must be entered into each handset/base keypad separately. A USB/computer interface would have made this a much easier task. Directory entries have exactly one phone number associated with them. Most of my contacts have multiple phone numbers so I ended up with multiple directory entries for each contact, keyed separately into 2 different handsets and the base station. Too overwhelming for me.

Second, I could not figure out how to initiate a call on the paired cellphone and transfer audio to the cordless handset. This is somewhat important to me as I do this on occasion.

Third, the phone advertises the ability to associate pictures with different callers and that is possible however the pictures are a fixed set of pictures loaded into the phone at the factory. Adding your own picture, I don't know, say perhaps of the PERSON WHO IS CALLING, is not an option. A picture of a nice hot air balloon is an option.

Fourth, The ring tones are terrible, it would have been better for the factory to include some ring tones that sound like a ringing telephone. This is my personal preference though, I'm old school and want my telephone to sound like a telephone when it rings.

I have one positive note regarding caller-id to directory lookup feature. This feature displays the name programed into your phone number directory when a call matching that directory entry is received. This feature compares only the last 7 digits of the telephone number to obtain a match. This is a benefit because if you pair different brands of cell phones to the base station, they may or may not deliver the country code (leading 1 in the US) and that can confuse the caller lookup mechanism if it's actually matching the whole number. While comparing 10 digits would be more exact (in the US) I found at least one competing product to this phone that compares all digits and therefore has a problem matching caller-id numbers to directory entries.

Very disappointed in this phone 2008-03-29
I bought this phone when my Panasonic died after only about 18 months of use. I was told I could upload my contacts to the handsets from the base, like my Panasonic.... not true. I have to add ALL my contacts individually to the base and handsets. Not user friendly. All operations with the phone are cumbersome. Nothing is simply push a button and "go". In order to use the headset you must push the "Headset" button each time. It does not maintain the link after you hang up a call. I haven't even tried to pair my cell phone.... why bother.. the phone's going back. And I haven't figured out how to simply ANSWER a call using the handset.. I have to answer with the speaker/base then turn on the handset. Pretty stupid!
