Outstanding TV! 2008-03-25
I bought a refurbished HDTV with a few mental reservations. I figured, though, that with the guarantee, I'd come out all right. I needn't have worried.

My Sony Bravia XBR KDL-32XBR4 32" LCD HDTV is even better than I expected. I examined this unit from top to bottom, all over, looking for flaws (it was refurbished, after all), but could find none. I saved more than $400 buying refurb, with apparently no downside. I couldn't be happier. I elected to go with cheap shipping, so it took awhile to get to me, but that's what I paid for, so no complaints.

All in all, I couldn't be happier. I got a great HDTV for a great price.

One Nice LCD TV! 2008-03-17
It was just what we wanted and was much better priced than local stores. It shipped in it's original carton which seemed a little reckless but the set arrived faster than expected and in perfect shape. Highly recommended!

XBR4 series are awesome machines 2008-03-16
The KDL-32XBR4 series is everything that I expected plus some. The picture and sound quality is great. I researched every TV that Consumer Reports recommends and this was the best by far. I strongly recommend this product to anybody who wants the best when selecting a 32" TV. I own the 40" XBR4 also and strongly recommend it also.

this is an awesome tv 2008-03-07
Hey all ... I just finished my hooking up and setting up and working all the menus and setting all the preferences and all that.It is easy, just make sure you read the manual that goes along with it as you do it and you'll be fine.Picture is absolutely killer !!! I have it hooked up to a Comcast HD receiver and an older VCR and my SONY old standard DVD player, and everything is great and tested out fine.MY shipment was fine, and was fast with no damage whatsoever. The digital channels look waaaaaaaaay better than a standard tv, and the HD channels will blow you away. There are also LOTS of preferences and "tweaking" you can do with both audio and video preferences, and yes it came out #1 in the March 2008 Consumer Reports (I checked)...you won't be disappointed.

Pure Quality 2008-02-29
This was my first LCD TV, and I was a little reluctant to buy one at first. I have seen so many LCD TVs that go blurry, but when I saw this one, my wife and I just knew that this was the one.. Not only that, this was rated as the #1 in it's class by Consumer Reports. I am very pleased with this purchase and I will likely buy another Sony Bravia for my next TV.

Note on the specs, I only needed this TV for simply TV watching, and this was more than enough. It has all types of extra connectors in back, and I am sure I will use them at some point. All in all this TV is great as just a plug-in and watch TV as well!

For the price, for someone who is picky about quality, you will get what you pay for in this product.

I like it. I like it.

This set has given my TV watching a new lease on life. I am excited again about watching my favorite shows. I have had it for about five months, and am still amazed at the picture quality. SONY shines through in picture and sound, and when the home theater kicks in; some serious home theater entertainment ensues. The 720 is great, and I do not think that I could tell the difference between it and 1080.

Great product and great Amazon service 2008-05-04
This recently discontinued top of the line model was affordable, has the good 10-bit color and other XBR features that make it look better than other 32" HDTV - I went to Best Buy to compare its simply breathtaking. It's the most expensive I've ever bought thru Amazon.com, and I intend to keep buying high-ticket items there. I always felt safe in ordering because it's easy to track orders and easy to get help you need it. And I've probably bought more than 100 things at Amazon
No problems.

Best Consumer LCD ever. 2008-04-28
Sony has always provided the monitors of choice for the television and film industry, and now finally there is a Hi-Def LCD that meets my high viewing standards for consumers. 1080P and 120Hz motion flow makes it a pleasure to watch all the HD satellite programming. Set-up is simple and even the audio reproduction is quite good. Amazon had the best delivered price and I've had no problems at all with this baby. This is the best.

Excellent quality LCD TV! 2008-04-27
I just brought my Sony XBR4 32" from the US (I live in Venezuela) and started to playing with the TV. Excellent quality for your $. I spend a lot of time researching which TV to buy and saw many reviews where the top player always was TVs even from other brands (and different models on each of the reviews), but almost every top 3 TV reviewed on those lists was compared to the quality delivered by the XBR4 TVs, SO, and after review the technical details of this one, I made the choice...MAN I'M HAPPY!.

Excellent image quality, almost no reflection, the sound is great as well, a lot of inputs and a Digital Decoder inside!!!, now I have a lot of digital channels i wasn't expect for. The cable operators here does not protect the digital signal beyond the fact that is digital!!! hehe.

The only thing is that I thought for a moment that this TV delivered 1080p when in fact is a 720p one. This was because it says in the description that accepts 1080p inputs. Please do not fall in this "trick".

I read on the Internet that 720p resolutions on "small TVs" (like 32" ones) make almost no difference to 1080p, so i'm not so concerned about this right now. If you're the patient kind you can wait until june or july when Sony will launch their new Engine and the 32" ones with 1080p resolution.

Excellent TV.

Sony Bravia XBR KDL - 32XBR 32" LCD HDTV 2008-03-26
This TV is well worth the $$$. It has a great picture with the ability to see individual grass blades! You can't go wrong on this one and it is worth the extra cost over the rest!
