The tiny ZEN Stone Plus is designed for life on the move. Compact and sporty looking, it comes in glossy color and can store up to a thousand songs. You're sure to fall in love with its smooth curves, round blue display with clock/stopwatch, FM radio and microphone. Whether you're running between lessons, keeping fit in the gym or commuting to the office, just pop the ZEN Stone Plus in a pocket and keep it with you all the time... because it's the MP3 player you'll love.

Great MP3 player 2008-02-08
Got one for my wife for Christmas. It is incredibly light and easy to operate. Also easy to load songs on it using pretty much any software or just dragging and dropping in windows explorer. Less than half the price of my daughter's IPOD. Personally, I hate the apple software and don't find the IPOD as easy to operate as the Creative Zen Stone or my super cheap RCA MP3 player.

Useless and Creative's Customer Service Department stinks 2008-02-05
If this is your first venture into MP3 players like it was mine DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT buy this device. First of all, there is no legally downloadable music to play on this thing. Nothing is compatible. But, go to their website and click on the "Fill Your Zen" link from the Zen Stone Plus 2GB webpage and it gives you all kinds of links to compatible services. Go to the service, sign up for it, and Guess What? It's not compatible. But wait!!?? They advertised that it was? Now try to get help from customer service. They talk in circles, oh yea, by e-mail only... and then to top it off you have to wait at least 24 hours between e-mails to get answers that get you nowhere. In the last e-mail I got customer service finally told me..

"[We] Apologize for any inconvenience caused from this experience. Please allow me to assist you further in resolving the issue.

Prior sending us an email, our website suggested some solutions for the issues that you are having. Some information that I provide might be repetitive, but I want to get you the solutions that have highest probability of resolving your issue.

I regret to tell you that Zen Stone Plus doesn't support Online Music Subscription Services. Therefore you won't be able to transfer any of the online music that you have subscribe whether it is itunes or Yahoo!Unlimited."

Well now, there's some help. All that stuff that they linked me to on their website, its not compatible. And I'm not comfortable downloading pirated music. So now what? I've got a device that does not do what the website said it would do. I call that false advertising and, Oh Yes...hmmm, its a piece of junk.

Great mp3 player 2008-01-21
It's a great mp3 player but also a great voice recorder. I use it to record important thing professors say in class and it really helps me study afterwards!

Love It 2008-01-14
I bought this as my little everyday and workout mp3 player because the other Creative Zen W that I have is not that great to carry around with. i use it every day.

Pros: It has great sound, doesn't even need an installation CD, just plug and drag and drop, much better than the Zen W. The battery life (10 hours) is sufficient. Very light and compact. Love the display. The volume is very loud on high much more than the Zen W.

Cons: little delay when clicking the buttons. I wish the pause button would be on the front as well and not on top, because it takes a while to find, when it is in the pocket. I don't like that I just got this for christmas and a week later they are coming out with the same model that has double the battery life and a speaker, which is what I would rather have for almost the same price.

Inexpensive and Easy to Use! 2007-12-26
I bought this MP3 player for my 7 yr old daughter for Christmas this year. She asked for an Ipod and I thought this was a better alternative than a pricey Apple Ipod with less storage capacity. I am so glad that I did! We got it out of the box plugged it into the PC USB port to charge and in a few hours my daughter was listening to music on her own MP3 player and extremely happy! I was very pleased with the ease of downloading software and the PC recognized it immediately and transferred over 80 songs in a matter of minutes. We were both ecstatic. I will probably be buying one for the rest of my family now that we know it is so easy to use and has great sound quality even with the cheaper earbuds.
Overall I give it 5 stars!

Disappointed 2008-06-10
I was so excited with i got my Creative Zen Stone. Yes the charge life was horrible, but that was not much of a concern for me. I liked the fact that it was small and perfect for working out. Overall i thought it was a neat little gadget until it suddenly stopped working after 2 months. I attempted to turn it on one afternoon and the creative logo appeared on the screen and wouldn't go away. I could not access my music and the device would not turn off . I'm highly disappointed...i expected more from this company.

Creative Zen Stone Plus 2008-05-17
It's a great little mp3 player. It's basically a shuffle. You can make folders but that uses up more space so it's basically organization vs. amount of music. Plus definitely get a little case for it because mine got scratched up pretty quickly and I was very careful. I guess because it's such a small screen one or two little nicks are very annoying.
You can choose language, sound settings (according to genre and there's a custom setting), there's fmradio with tons of presets. It's definitely worth sixty bucks! I recommend it.

Creative Zen review 2008-04-28
I was enjoying the player immensely when after only 7 weeks it just stopped working. Since it was past 30 days i could not return it via amazon.com and had to call Creative directly. Their customer service staff were insulting. I explained what was wrong and told I needed to "troubleshoot" over the phone. When I said to Arnold, the rep, "there is an on/off switch, when I press it nothing happens, what exactly do you think we can troubleshoot?" his response was, that perhaps I wasn't charging the unit correctly. Now if it had only been 2 or 3 days I would have seen the logic in this, but after 7 weeks this was a ridiculous suggestion. I was then directed to a web site to request RNA. The website did not work. I searched the entire Creative web site and found only one place were a text email could be sent. After sending email to this link, I was finally provided an RNA and am still waiting to receive the player back. I would most definitely not recommend this or any Creative product.

Less to be desired 2008-04-18
When I received this item, I thought it was cool, small enough to carry anywhere and durable so I could listen for hours. Well, I was in for a rude awakening; when I tried to play back my downloaded songs, after about 1 hour of play the battery was already at two bars, then after 2 hours down to one. Needs constant charging. Also, shuffled songs keep playing over and over, making you sick of hearing the songs. I'm not surprised though, how could such a small unit possess longevity and good sequence. Nice try Creative Zen - but no cigar!

Good Item For a Couple Weeks 2008-03-15
I was pretty happy with the item when I first got it. I used it about ten times. The battery life is horrible, it needs constant re-charging. I made the mistake of leaving it un-charged for about a week. Now the battery will only go to one bar, no matter how long I charge it. It is useless now. Don't waste your money like I did.
