Rare earth magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet currently made. They are amazingly powerful for their size and have innumerable uses. These disc magnets are 0.375 inch (9.5mm) diameter and 0.125 inch (3.2mm) thick. They are magnetized through the thickness. They are composed of grade 40 neodymium iron boron magnetic material and are plated in nickel-copper-nickel for a shiny corrosion resistant finish. Their individual pull force is approximately 4 lbs. Maximum working temperature is 176 F (80 C).

Great Little Magnets

We wanted magnets that had holding power without being overly visible. These did the job for us.

These are some strong magnets...

We were constantly having problems keeping all the coupons, invitations, photos, and school projects on the fridge with the cutesy, funny or freebie magnets in our arsenal. We got these to make things stay put.

And they do. These magnets are small, but they are very, very strong. Only trouble is trying to get one separated from the rest! Now all of our refrigerator art is securely fastened to the door.
