nice value

The mouse feels a bit cheap but that why I bought it over the mighty mouse. Works well but does not feel as solid as my microsoft presenter mouse 8000. I don't like how the batteries are installed in the unit and there is no instructions that tell you that you need to download drivers from the web site to get the back button to work on the MAC. As you may have notice with the previous statement... there is no CD included. Also if it matters to you the mouse wheel does not have the tilt left and right function, Go with the presenter 8000 for that. For the money it would be hard to beat so it is a great buy.
Not too bad, but...

PROS:
1) The configuration panel (Mac OS X) is very useful for programming the buttons.
2) Battery life is decent
3) It's a mouse... what else can I say?
CONS:
1) The shape takes some getting used to. It's ever so slightly flared out at the bottom which is a little awkward.
2) The scroll wheel on this mouse is awful. It jumps over large amounts of screen space. Slowing down the movement of the scroll wheel doesn't work in making it jump less. It's like there are hitches in the scroll wheel that it has to jump to. Quite frustrating when you are trying to do precision work.
3) The scroll wheel again! If you try to scroll quickly, nothing happens. It's like spinning your tires in a car if you press on the accelerator too hard.
Great!!

It's small, light and also comes with a cover so it won't scratch in my backpack.
The battery last long.
Mac user beware

i bought this for a female friend of mind as a birthday present to go with her new Macbook. so when it arrived i opened it and set it up on my PowerMac and it went with a hitch but when i went to set it up on her macbook the computer wouldn't recognize it. so i took it home and tried it on my brother's imac, it wouldn't work on that either. so i kept it for myself and bought her a little logitech
I like it

There are much better choices

I ordered 2 of these thinking you can't beat the price for bluetooth technology. Boy was i wrong. Nobody in my family liked them. Way too small for big hands, not comfortable at all. I promptly sold them on eBay and returned to using my overpriced Apple Mighty Mouse. You get what you pay for...
Great Mouse with a Few Nicks!
2008-11-10
Mouse is great and works decent, my microsoft 3000 mouse worked better except for the usb receiver broke =[. Overall I'm Satisfied. The best thing I like about it is back button, just is awesome! Now the few things I dont like. 1st - Battery life is very short, my first set of energizers lasted 1 month. The 2nd thing I dont like is that when laptop was on hibernate mode and I get back to work and use the mouse, the mouse starts up like in 2 secs and alot of times instead of smoth scrolling it skips in 1" intervals (dont know if this is a defect or if others are getting same thing). 3rd - I think the power botton could of been designed from better materials. If the mouse will continue to skip I will replace through warranty.
Very satisfying. Great mouse for moderate price!

I received this mouse about one week ago and so far it's completely satisfying. It goes very smooth and precise on the screen. If it's been inactive for a while it wakes up very fast. The mouse works on all surfaces I've tried so far; the scratched and worn off table surface, mouse pad, my pants or sweatshirt etc. were all no problem where either one or the other of my old mice wouldn't work.
The design could surely be better, and I would have liked to give it only a 4.5 star rating if it was possible. It generally feels good tho, my hand is just not quite used to it and I could believe it gets uncomfortable in extensive use.
The bluetooth connection is simply awesome! It was no hassle to get it connected to my Thinkpad and now it connects automatically as soon as the Windows log on screen comes up. It hasn't disconnected a single time yet, and I simply love the fact that I can use it without a usb receiver.
I can't say anything about the battery life as I've had it for only a week, but personally I don't worry about it as I always use rechargeable batteries in mice anyway.
As mentioned before i would have giving it a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars if I could have, due to it's design. I decided to give it 5 and not 4 stars because it met my expectations and in some ways even exceeded my expectations, but also in regards to the price since most bluetooth laser mice are much more expensive and I doubt they could be much better.
Does what is supposed to for a good price

I use this with my Macbook Pro that is set up to triple boot OS X / XP / Linux and it works with all three operating systems with a apparently good battery life (been a month or so and it is going strong with regular use).
