Excellent Cordless Mouse 2008-07-24
This product delivered everything that was advertised by its manufacturer (Logitech). It is very reliable, responsive and does not have the problem that regular optical-cordless mice have, as it works very well regardless of the background or color surface I put it on.

The battery life is outstanding. I used to have to change batteries all the time (every 3 weeks or so) on my previous cordless mice. This mouse can be turned ON/OFF to save even more batteries. I have used it for the past 2 months and I have not had the need to change the batteries. Oh by the way, this mouse has a light indicator for the battery power, so I do not have to guess when they need replacement or get caught off guard with a useless mouse in the middle of an important meeting or presentation.

The compact USB "Nano" receiver does not get in the way. I can store the laptop with the receiver inserted it, in my backpack and it does not get tangled or smashed. The receiver is easy to remove or insert. Although I rarely see the need to remove it.

The scrolling wheel works in 2 modes: the precise mode that works on a click by click basis; the fast scroll where the wheel moves back and forth freely. This is a great feature and is very useful for LONG documents or websites.

The overall form factor of the mouse is very *portable* and comfortable. Although I have small hands and this mouse may be a bit small for people with big hands.

This product is worth every penny.

GREAT MOUSE! 2008-07-22
This mouse is great. On/off switch or turns off when dormant, small plug in on side that doesn't get bumped, and very responsive. Love the wheel and the side clicks. Glad I bought it - it's a wonderful value.

Innovative Technology 2008-07-16
Ok, so I am a computer tech for last 25 years. It's pretty hard to impress me. But this mouse is the cats meow. I can leave the receiver plugged in all the time and not worry about breaking it off. I like a hot response from a mouse. One with what I call "positive traction". This mouse has it. I can roll my wrist and hit the left and right edges of the screen. The cursor tracking is predictible and precise. Man, I love this mouse. "Hats off" to the engineers at Logitech.

Almost perfect and better than anything else I tried 2008-07-13
My old MS laptop mouse died so after reading reviews and 'feeling out' various mice at local stores to see how they felt in my hand, I went with the Logitech VX Nano. While my IBM laptop is primarily used as a desktop replacement, I wanted a mouse that could easily be taken along for the ride without taking up excessive briefcase space. Some of the extra functions, like the free-wheeling scroll wheel option, are frankly superfluous to me and not used with any frequency so my primary comments relate more to the ease of use and the functionality of the mouse for normal usage.

Pros:
* Works smoothly! This does not feel like a cheap mouse that will easily break like some on the market. It has a quality feel with positive tactile feedback.
* Gotta love the Nano receiver! Other than the fear that someday I might lose it, this little receiver is hardly noticeable! It fits one of the USB slots and I can easily transport the laptop with it in place without fear of knocking it loose or breaking it off.
* Not too small for the way I use a mouse. I have fairly big hands (I'm 6 ft. tall) and while the mouse is not designed to fit in the palm of my hand, it is very comfortable to use. I will say that I generally configure my mice to move faster with shorter hand movements than most people or the normal Windows default settings. So I do not need to move the mouse far to reach any destination on my screen. If you prefer a slower, longer setting for your mouse, you may find the comfort different for bigger hands, but for my use it is perfectly comfortable.

Cons:
* Occasionally the receiver does not seem to pick up button pushes even if it is picking up mouse movement or the scroll wheel. The IBM USB is on the left hand side and the mouse is on the right, often about 4 feet away. While generally this works fine, on occasion I will have to press the mouse button a couple times to get the receiver to register a command. Again, this is not a problem when moving the mouse or moving the scroll wheel, only if I push the left or right button to send a command. I can easily solve this by simply moving the mouse a bit further left (closer to the USB). And if I have the mouse entirely on the left hand side of the laptop I can be 10 feet away and it works fine. There is some 'dead zone' apparently where I have occasional interference and only on button pushes! But fairly uncommon and easily corrected by moving the mouse a bit.
* I admit to liking Logitech products. Their software occasionally leaves a bit to be desired. But I finally need to grouse about Logitech's apparent need to overly market themselves via their software. Unless you control what the software loads when you install your Logitech product, you will get unnecessary marketing hype and more media software from Logitech that, at least for me, I do not need or want. Come on, guys. You are a very well recognized brand. You make generally excellent products. Keep the software simple & effective and eliminate all the extra dross that you seem to clog things up with. Or at least make it 'opt in' by default rather than requiring the user to 'opt out' every time. There is enough junk slowing down my PC without your help, thank-you!

Freedom, At Last 2008-07-12
This is the mouse I have been waiting for: compact, cordless, and a receiver I don't worry about knocking off as I roam around the house. It works great.

Awesome mouse to have around at all times 2008-07-07
I purchased 2 of these mouse 6 months ago and I'm still using the batteries that came with it. I carry this mouse with my notebook all the time and the batteries last forever. I've recommended this mouse to all my friends. So far my friends are in love with this mouse.

Minnie Mouse (Logitech Nano VX Laser mouse) is great! 2008-07-06
I ordered this mouse for my laptop at work, and it's the greatest! It was easy to set up, and is more versatile than I even need. I was so impressed I bought it's big brother (Logitech MX Revolution) for use at home. They are the best mice I've used. I recommend both to anyone upgrading to laser mice.

Love it 2008-07-05
Bluetooth never left my notebook regardless if I have my mouse with me or not. If you use bluetooth stick before, you know what I mean. Glide smoothly, much better than my mx5000 series. Much better connections. Nice buy if the price is right.

Logitech VX Nano Notebook Cordless Laser Mouse......THE BEST 2008-07-05
This is the most enjoyable and responsive cordless mouse that I've ever used. The size is perfect as it just fits in your hand. The diminutive size of the receiver is deceptive as it has strong signal.

My husband looks on enviously while he uses his notebook. (He's looking for Logitech coupons.)
