Got a lemon!

Never got a chance to try PC Registry. Rec'd an item with a used CD Key and was unable to activate it. Of course, Amazon provides excellent service on their items. Oh well...
Annual renewal

I had the same problem with the annual renewal. I pointed it out and PC Tools corrected it. Reputable company.

Registry Mechanic was installed with no problem, and worked as expected. This was a renewal of a subscription, which I didn't know was required, so I didn't renew online, but bought the product from Amazon in a retail box. Their registration process was mind boggling. A product key comes with the CD, but when you try to register it, it shows the key from the prior version, so I couldn't tell if I had the new or the older version? After about 2 weeks and several emails, they explained that the original key is what they keep on their site when you renew, even though you entered the new key that came with the CD.
"Great Cleaner" 2008-05-27
I'm very happy I bought this, considering my computer needed a really good cleaning. Registry Mechanic found almost 200 problems on my computer. It didn't shock me, because I've been having freezes alot on my PC lately. Registry Mechanic speeded up my PC and now I don't have those annoying freezes anymore! "So that said", I definetely recommend PC Tools Registry Mechanic!
Want Your Computer Fast Or Slow 2008-03-30
Don't know what it does -- but it keep my computer fast. This is not anti virus -- it organizes your sofeware. Take less than 5 minutes. Run it 3 or 4 times a week -- just like having a brand new computer everytime. You'll be amazed -- well more the money.
NOTE; I have 3 computers -- needed two copies so i ordered 2 Reg. Mech.
Each- order -will download 3 computers. I kept the other one for

Disapointed 2008-03-07
I purchased new software, because it was less expensive than the annual renewal "service" from PC Tools. What a mistake. The software is set up to accept only one license key. Uninstall did not solve this problem. Their website support said that I should have renewed through PC Tools and that I must contact support. I submitted my request and received an email where I was scolded for not renewing through their web site. They gave me instructions that I followed exactly but received an error message "Sorry, that is an invalid license code. Please ensure you have entered the License Name and License Code exactly as provided." I replied, as they suggested, but they will not respond now, after several attempts. I followed further instructions on their support website and uninstalled, then reinstalled in "SAFE MODE". It did not work either. What a pain. I don't need this software. Really. I lost a few dollars but I figure it's a cheap lesson. I installed CCleaner 2.05 and I hope that I never have to use a PC Tools product again.
Great product and real product support!! 2008-03-03
I bought the "3 pack" and, when I installed on a computer that had had an earlier version of Registry Mechanic, the program didn't pick up on the fact that a newer version (and a newer subscription date) had been installed. I sent an email to their product support and, lo and behold, I got a response back that actually told me how to solve the problem!
The program itself found hundreds of problems that another registry cleaner I had been using missed. The computers start quicker; what could be better?
Registry Software 2008-03-01
Probably a good product but I haven't loaded it on my Vista system because I didn't know I needed a yearly subscription for updates. To me, if you bought the license for a product software updates should be free.
Seems to have worked 2008-02-28
I was skeptical after reading other reviews, but it seems to have helped my computer's speed and I haven't noticed any problems with the programs.
