Designed for today's pro-compact and compact digital cameras, the Cirrus Series easily protects both camera and lens from the outside elements. The interior features a memory card pocket for quick changes and brushed tricot lining protects the LCD screen and lens from abrasion. The exterior of the bags are built with a tough water and abrasion resistant fabric and can be attached through either a belt-loop or with an included shoulder-strap. This lightweight and compact top-loading bag provides digital camera users with solid protection and fast access to capture those spontaneous moments.

Great for SLR+lens 2008-09-02
This case does what it's intended for very well. It's light, compact and holds my Nikon D80 and attached 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 VR lens. The build quality is excellent and the lining and padding are very nice. If you just want to carry an SLR and a large zoom lens, this is the bag for you. The price is hard to beat.

However, that said, I'm going to be looking for another bag in the near future. I have a Tamrac that holds several lenses, speedlight and an SLR, but it won't hold them all with a lens mounted. So, I was hoping this bag would be my solution to keeping a superzoom on the camera all the time. I overlooked my desire to keep a speedlight and filters handy. I use fill-flash a great deal of the time and this bag has no provision to carry one. There isn't enough extra room in the main compartment for a speedlight and the small side pouch will not comfortably hold a filter-carrier. There are no side-loops or other attachment points, just a thick belt-loop on the body-side.

I'm currently looking at the LowePro Mini-Mag as I think it might be the solution for my particular application.

Good travel bag 2008-08-17
This bag will protect my rebel XSI with the 18 55 lens with no trouble.Great for hiking, camping trip or day out, where you would not need your other lens and equipment.

Not quite deep enough 2008-07-29
This is a very nice case, with a long strap that can be worn over the shoulder or around the waist. I had purchased it thinking it would work to carry my canon rebel with the EF 70-200 lens attached; however, it is not quite deep enough for that (unless I leave the lid unzipped). I can carry the camera with the kit lens attached and another smaller lens in the bottom section, so I will get a lot of use out of the case, even if not for the purpose intended.

Very Good 2008-07-15
Very good, can accomodate my D80 with a variery of lenses. Strong construction.
Not much pockets but very functional.

Lowepro Cirrus TLZ 25 Holster Style Case For Digital SLR & Telephoto Zoom Lens (Black) 2008-07-01
i got this bag/case- mainly because i like Lowepro products - and because there is no velcro on the bag!!! you know how irritating it is when you are in a museum or a church shooting pictures and you have to rip open the top from Velcro- awful sound!!!! so this is the bag for you if you don't like velcro ! it is very light and i can just swing my camera in - even with the 300zoom lens on it. i like the little handle on the top too - convenient when you don't have it on your shoulder - i like the bucket type for the longer lenses - you don't have to take them off to get it in the bag.
the only draw back is that there is little space to take anything else - or put a wallet or something - there is a small outer pocket to hold an extra battery and a pocket in the inner top - for a memory card or two - but don't plan on taking much else - mostly for taking out for a day shoot or something. The good thing is that you won't want to put all of it in there and then carry it around!!! too heavy!
the bag it self is very well made - Lowepro quality all the way - the strap is removable and etc.......light, but well padded. one very small pocket in the inside lid and one very small pocket on the outside. your basic case - but best of all there is NO VELCRO !!!!!!

Stylish and sturdy 2008-06-27

tight fit for canon 40d with standard 135mm zoom 2008-06-17
it does not close with the canon 40d 300mm USM zoom, but i will probably use it with the top open when i have the longer lenses on it. otherwise, well made.

Very good ... 2008-06-15
I bought this bag for my Nikon D60 with 18-55 mm, and it fits nice, and with the velcro adjusts, it can hold a large zoom lens too.. though lacks enough spacious pockets., it can hold your extra memory cards in the inside velcro pocket... the outside pockets arent of much use in my opinion as they are too tight and cant hold anything else other than memory cards... still the bag is of good solid build.. i would recommend this item..

Fits Nikon D300 2008-05-30
This case just BARELY fits my Nikon D300 with the 18-200 lens attached. The back end of the body is about level with the top of the case, so there really isn't room for anything else, but it does meet my needs.

perfect fit 2008-05-27
This case might have been made for the Nikon D 60 with a 200mm. Worked well on a trip to Sitka. Most important, my camera still works after being hammered in a gale with me (small boat) for two consecutive days.
I wish the case had a large reflective yellow stipe

Review: ... "Click! The No Nonsense Guide to Digital Cameras" is misnamed. It covers a lot more than just cameras. In a couple of hundred pages, it includes using a scanner and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 to rescue faded, damaged family photos, the basic guidelines to good picture taking, how to use Elements 2 to improve your digital photos, and how to print and preserve your pictures for the ages. White, the author of the bestseller "How Computers Work," knows how to pack a lot of helpful, understandable information in a brief no nonsense book.

Review: "This Camera is one of the best in its price range. It takes beautiful clear pictures and can be used right out of the box, but its worth learning all its features. The included memory holds about 20-25 pictures so I upgraded to 128mb. I reccomend getting a 128mb card and the Sony camera case. Not only is this one of the best cameras in its class it includes decent software and rechargeable batteries that are at least a 20$ value.
HIGHLY reccomend over canon, kodak, and fuji. One more thing this camera has CARL Zeiss lens (if you dont know, great lens) all the competetors have generic lens."

The fact is a camera’s megapixel rating is only a measure of how many pixels (photosensitive sites) an image sensor has…. An image sensor is simply one component of an entire system that produces a digital photograph… So resist buying into the megapixel hype when you’re choosing a digital camera. From Chapter 1
