Good dvd's, worst case ever

I like the series a lot but the case they came in was the stupidest case I've ever seen. I read the reviews that other people wrote about how it looked like a barbie doll case but I didn't understand exactly how badly they meant it. It actually looks like a box that a barbie might come in and it's the SIZE of a barbie box too! It's HUGE and has no place on the dvd rack where I keep my collection of other tv series.

Right out of the box I've had a couple dvd's that weren't really working well. When I put them in they were skipping and no sound coming from them. My husband took them out of the dvd player and cleaned them and then they worked fine.

My only complaint really is that through each episode you have to sit through (or fast forward) the opening song, "what happened previously on the Gilmore Girls" and then the end credits. It would be way nicer to watch the series straight through on dvd without having to watch what happened in the episode you JUST got done watching over again. It makes sense when it's showing on tv but not on dvd. So when watching, make sure you have your remote handy at all times so you can skip through half of the time.

This was a gift for my wife. Gilmore Girls is her favorite show and she is very pleased with this collection. I have found myself looking through the Gilmore-isms and Episode guide books. Great stuff!

It's nice having all those episodes at our disposal and it's the perfect gift for any fan of the show.

Gilmore girls is simply amazing. The complete series collection has additional features and also an episode guide with cool pics.

My daughters and I are loving watching all of the episodes of this wonderful series. We love all of the little extras that go along with it and the case makes it easy to take on trips.

All the videos where in perfect order and the package came with plenty of cushion for the ride over. The delivery was fast and prompt. I would not hesitate to order from this person/seller in the future.

I have to admit this set is awesome! They have like 6 DVDs per season I think and two books that are slam packed with info. One book is has all of the GG's -isms. The intelligence of the writers is shown throughout the books.

Gilmore Girls Series - Not so complete after all

I recently bought the complete series of the Gilmore Girls for my wife, which she really liked except that some of the DVDs refuse to play despite our best efforts. A more thorough quality check was probably needed.
