It's ok

Good produc but, the velcro strap that holds the device in place isnt what I expected. I like the other organizer better but its for the Q1.
Lame, but tolerable

The good...
It's a protective case for the expensive portable that you just purchased. It has a built in flap stand that is magnetic that folds out when you are using it. It accepts the slim line keyboard well. Nice little spot for the stylus so you don't have to pull the Q1 out of its case to access the stylus from the bottom. It accommodates the extended battery (at least the 6 cell, don't know about the 8 cell). It seems to fit securely.
The bad...
The magnetic buttons to hold it closed are a pain to get lined up. The USB connector for the slim line keyboard needs to be disconnected when you pack up your device or it sticks out. It is hard to use the stylus on the bottom of the screen without slightly moving the Q1 up.
The ugly...
There's a goofy flap that is designed (I'm guessing here) to protect the screen from getting scratched by the keyboard when travelling. This thing should be removable as it is in the way and never seems to stay tucked in. The USB/RGB port on the sides are basically unusable while it's in the case.
All in all, it's better to have it, than not, but don't bother if you don't plan to use the slim line keyboard with it as it will be very loose fitting.
Crap, but better than nothing...

Well, I gor the case because I need some protection, beyond the joke of a b ag that came with the Q1U...
Anyway, this case sucks - it is way bigger than the Q1U, and the biggest problem - in order to use the Q1U with the keyboard that fits into the case, you have to:
1. Open the right side of the Q1
2. Un-velcro the side support for the Q1 in the case
plug the USB cable
The case is really poorly thought out, and the quality sucks too...

I feel mixed about this piece. At first it's what really sold me on the Q1 Ultra, that i could put it inside this. It is nice to have the organization but, hum-ho, it's kinda, odd and disappointing. I don't like how there are two flaps that hang out the front while you have it open. They just get in the way. But its tolerable
In the end i guess it's better to have it than not have it, for my purposes.
It has been improved over the Q1 model to allow a larger slot to accomodate the larger battery, but it's done with a velco enclosure.
Probably the largest error in design is the fact that the back of the Q1U is where the air intake for the fan is, and when the unit rests in the slot of the organizer, air intake is almost completely obstructed. As a result, if i pull the unit out to do some computing for a long time, I will just pull the unit out of the slot and rest it in front so that the air intake is unobstructed.
Beyond that, the imperfections are merely aesthetic really. There are two microphones on the front of the Q1U that are supposed to correspond to two little holes in the front of the slot in the organizer that holds the unit in there. But they don't line up with the microphone holes.
Also, it blocks access to the normal little hole where you store the stylus in the Q1U. But there's a little slot inside the crook of the organizer where you slide it in and store the stylus while the unit is in the organizer.
Also, there's a little clippy-door that covers the right ports (network Lan, USB, and monitor ports) but it have access to them you have to either cut the little door off (which i didn't do), or awkwardly bend the cover back and wedge it behind the Q1U while it's in the slot of the case.
Kinda "jerry-rigged" as you might say, but it gets the job done.
To its credit, the clips that hold the keyboard in are very well made, hold it in very securely and neatly, and also have a quick-release latch.
Another thing I don't like about the case is the fact that the keyboard, being a usb connection, is not protected very well. To plug the keyboard in, you plug it into the USB port on the right side. So, the plug is straight and not right angled so it sticks out the side of the organizer. To really protect it you have to unplug the keyboard everytime when you close the organizer.
But as far as the whole package, the Samsung Q1 Ultra is one of the best things that ever happened to me!!! It's made my whole life easier!!
I could live without the organizer, but I'll keep it.
Nice, not great

This case is nice because it will keep your Q1 safe from being squished in a purse or briefcase. But...
1) I think it's too expensive for what you get
2) it has a spot for a wireless mini keyboard and if you, like me, decide not to get the keyboard, the case feels a little loose because of the empty space
3) there are no pockets for accessories like USB hubs, pens, adapters, etc
4) although the Q1 fits where it's supposed to go, it sort of slides upwards and doesn't feel as tight in place as it should.
5) if you, like me, like to just tap on the screen instead of using the stylus when doing something that doesn't require writing, it is hard to tap on the buttons on the bottom of the screen (ie: Start button) when the Q1 is in the case
I think a hard box that will keep the screen and keys from being pushed while the Q1 is inside a bag or purse would feel like a better deal for the money.
