The Unmoveable Dash Mat
2008-07-23
This is a great product for your GPS systems. I have a TomTom One XL and it's fits nicely inside of the mat using the sunction cup. When driving the mat stays put and you don't have to worry about it winding up on the floor. I have had mine for approx. 7 months now and am completely satisfied with this product. I have given several of these as gifts.
Price is right; works great

I have a TomTom One and it works great on this base. The Nav-Mat stays put on my 2007 Honda Civic's dash even though it is not entirely flat. This base sold for $40 in the stores but only $12 at Amazon. Plus now I am legal in CA since we can't stick the GPS on the glass due to clear-view laws.
A perfect solution and great product

I have a VW Beetle which means it has a ridiculously large dashboard which makes it impossible to mount a GPS to the windshield and the dashboard in front of me is rounded, which also makes GPS mount impossible.
I bought this product and so far it has worked perfectly and just as it should. It is stable and hasn't fallen off my dash and my GPS attached to it easily and securely.
I like that it makes my GPS portable too. I can take this out of my car without unhooking it from the windshield or dash.
Ease of Use of GPS
2008-07-21
Does exactly as promised. Although my dashboard is very curvy, it allows the GPS to sit still while driving even hilly areas and then when I park, I can easily take down both the GPS and the friction mat. I would recommend to anyone purchasing GPS.
Bracketron UFM-100BL Nav-Mat

Pro: The material is good and the pad doesn't slide on the dask board.
Con: I have a TomTom 920, the edge of the pad is too high for it. My GPS can't really use it.
Other Thought: If you only have a small passenger car, you may find the grove compartment being too small for this pad especially you have other things in it.
Friction Dash Pad

Works very well. Stay in place during hard cornering and braking. Easy storing by putting under seat after parking to avoid attracting unwanted attention.
Simple yet solid design

Wide base and flexibility of the dash pad makes this product easily conform to a sloping dashboard. Friction design combined with the weight of the pad keeps the GPS unit stationary when mounted to the pad with a standard suction cup mount. Handy for grab and go mounting of the GPS unit when moving from vehicle to vehicle.
Great Product

When I bought my GPS navigator ,I hated sticking the mounting bracket to the windshield this product eliminates that and seems to be more stable ,thumbs up for this product
RING AROUND MY GPS

Used this for a couple months now, hasnt budged very stable and suction cups never come loose. Have a magellan maestro 4250 and this brings it closer, easier to see and use and you can easily toss it under the seat when you park, leaving no evidence of the gps. Own both a Toyota Corolla and Jeep Liberty and works well in both.
Less than 1/2 the price of the Garmin pad, and works great.

I have the Garmin 650,which is a fairly large GPS.I did not think it would hold it properly. But after giving it a road test it worked great,no problems at all. Can't beat it for the price.
