Its a god bar, the only drawback was that the bolts provided were only long enough to go through one joist. My garage has enginered trusses, so the bottom cord is only a two by four and I decided to double it up with a two by six. and needed to go to the store and get longer bolts. It would have been good to have a second set of longer bolts included. Once the bar is mounted, its strong and has good grip. No complants

I was looking for a solid steel industrial type pull up bar. I also needed one that allowed for wide and close grip pull/chin ups. This is very sturdy and well worth the price. It was exactly what I was looking for.

Product came fast and is very good quality. Don't know why the other guy needed lag bolts - it works fine with the bolts that come with it. I'd think you'd want to go all the way through the joist as long as you're drilling four holes anyway - stronger.
At first I thought it should have padding but after two weeks weeks my hands got used to it and now I'm glad it doesn't have padding.
Doin' pullups - and zero floor space. If only my old fat ex-marine gym teacher could see me now!
